  1. I have been collecting geocoins since 2006. I love geocoins. When I started collecting coins they were a lot less expensive. I also see the coin companies bringing out old coins in new color combinations. Some of my favorite coin vendors are no longer in business. I have not seen a geocoin that has perked my interest this month, and therefore I have not bought one. The interest is still there if only I could find a coin to buy.
  2. The middle Jester came by and he guessed a lion and a bear
  3. I had the same experience opening up my package Wow! It really made my day Thank you! Thank you! The turtles are beautiful!
  4. I was at geocoinfest in Pittsburgh and everyone I met was a major coin person. There was not one person that I met who was not trading coins. When I first heard of all the beautiful coins you are going to bring to the event, I thought wow there is going to be a mad dash to get to her booth and buy her coins. So, I guess we will just see how it goes in SLC. Hope to be first in line

  12. I had a coin disappear at checkout so I updated my cart and I got it back again. I think I got lucky
  13. I had a trade set up for the Italy 888 event coin. I set up the trade, mailed my coin out and never heard from KDV again. I emailed two weeks after I sent the coin w/no reply. I am still in need of an Italy 888 coin. This is the last coin to complete my 888 event collection. I am patient, and I am hopefully waiting.
  14. I have pictures of the name tags and the table before everyone arrived. I planned on taking all kinds of pictures and these are the only ones I took. I'll see if I figure out how to upload the pictures.
  15. TJ and Blondie also traded away their number one. He also thought that number one would be on the gold version. I will organize my minis later today. If I find I have any ones or sixes then I wil post it here. Carolyn The Jesters

  17. Yes, I will be buying geocoins. I just hope that my maill carriers feelings won't get hurt.
  18. Well, we are The Jesters. My son gave us this fine geocaching name. He was in first grade and played the game Gauntlet all the time. His favorite character in the game was the green Jester. When we registered I told my son he could pick our geocaching name. So my son named us The Jesters. I like the name, and if you saw us caching then you would know the name fits.
  19. I have been saving trader coins for this event for over a year. I guess some coins are now older coins, and I have purchased some of the current coins for trade. I am so excited! I just love to trade geocoins!
  20. I am on a quest to collect the entire set of 888 event coins. I am only lacking (from what I can tell) California and Germany. Does any one have these two coins to trade? I have a trade list that I can e-mail anyone interested. I also have 3 Dallas 888 event coins to trade. Thank you, Carolyn The Jesters
  21. I am also a Texan. I would love to be on the pre order list! The art work is beautiful!
  22. Congratulations on your graduation Day! It will be a fun day full of play! Now what will you do w/all of your new found time? Will you go geocaching and have some great finds? Will you design some great new coins? Or find an endangered species geocaching club that everyone will join? Or will you sit around, And on the foums be found? All I can truly say... Is have a fabulous graduation day!
  23. I like to know the amount of coins minted, because I put the information into a spreadsheet. I have been collecting coins for a year and a half, I can't possibly remember the total minting of every coin. I have never sold a geocoin on ebay. I don't even have a trade list. I like to take my coins to events and trade w/people. I like to know the amount of coins minted. When I purchase a coin, I like to know if the coin will be reminted. I take that information and decide if I want to purchase the coin. Then it comes down to the fact if I don't like the coin, I really do not care how many were made, because I am not going to buy it.
  24. 1. According to geocachingcom I have 187 activated trackables. I have another two albume w/the same amount unactivated. I have two treasure chests filled w/trades (approximately 200). So that's about 761 coins. 2. I have not set any free in the wild, but I do carry one on my GPS so that it can be discovered when I run into fellow cachers. 3. I have given five away as gifts. I am hopping to go to the Geocoinfest n Pennsylvania and trade away my 200 extras.
