If u want the best its gonna have to contain some deet. I have found that even 10% deet does the job. The more deet it has the longer it last and wont have to re-apply. I heard the jury is still out on whether it has any side effects. If used on kids just have them take a good bath afterwards. If u use anything that contains a scent (perfume) it will atract flying inscents and maybe four legged creatures?!

If ur sportrak is anything like my map 330 or the new meridian...u should be able to get better map detail with the mapsend cd that comes with it.

My map 330 works like a champ, I also keep a eye on the EPE (estimated position error in feet) and that lets me know if gps is done or still working hard.

Yep, using j-track (3-d), highlite satellite, then select any one starting with prefix "gps" ,click on sat info and it will confirm it is used for gps and all information....good stuff here.

yep, ur right....got to upload to pc first, save it , then download all at once. Kinda a inconvience, should have been a better way....thanks.

When downloading to my gps using mapsend cd , it always erases any routes I have stored on the gps. Is this a software bug or just bad programning on their part. Am I doing something wrong? What good is saving a bunch of routes on ur gps if ur gonna loose them each time u download a new route u created on the mapsend software?!? I have emailed their tech support with no answer or callback.
