  16. It is real important to have find counts so that it is easier to identify the people new to the sport and help and encourage them along the way. On my first couple finds I found it extremely frustrating to not find something that seemed so easy. What I recieved was an abundance of help, tips, and encouragement. The best advise I received was " Think like a cacher hiding a cache and examine the obvious" seems pretty obvious now but was invauluable then.

  18. Print out the caches you are going to visit. Formulate a plan of attack ahead of time. Bring something to write with. Gather some cool stuff to trade. Bring water. Keep track of days activities in a little notebook to record later on site. Once you have arrived at the spot immediatly imagine you are there to hide a cache and search the locations that look like great places to hide.
