all41 I have exactly the same problem on my desktop, both for MapSource and download to GPSr cause this fault, however on my laptop works fine. I can't figure it out (eg both XP Pro with all security updates, same AV and Firewall software). I let the error report be emailed but haven't heard anything yet.
