I'm looking at Magellan's eXplorist XL. The reviews I've read have all said that the base maps for it are horrible, having only the major highways. I'm wondering if anyone has an eXplorist XL. How were the base maps compared to the older base maps? Thanks.
I have a Magellan Sportrak Color. I left it in the backpack in the trunk of the car on one hot day. Now there is a blob in the LCD screen that won't go away. Anyone have any ideas as to what I can do besides call Magellan??
Hi! I'm just moving from the south and am wondering what geocaching is like in the Great Plains. What are the best caches? What would you personally recommend? Are there any geocaching groups in or around Lincoln, NE? Thanks.
What does the App Trail - Georgia look like? I saw you have one for Tennessee-N. Carolina. I have a GEOSET coin that I'm willing to trade, if I like what I see.
Lurking is a fun! I enjoy reading people's opinions and what they have to say. And, as some have already mentioned, there are a lot of people who have a great sense of humor. So, I lurk and enjoy the laughs.
I use Magellan's SportTrak Color. Did a lot of research when I decided to buy a GPS and picked this one because of it's awesome antenna. It's gotten signal in places where my friend's Garmin didn't. What I don't like is the buttons and that it does not have some of the features I like on Garmin's GPSMAP 60CS. But, it's a great little buddy when I geocache.
Has anybody seen the Triplets? They're a trio of little guys. I think the girl (who is Piglet) is Dara? I've tried to keep an eye on them but haven't succeeded.
I use a Magellan SportTrak Color.
I bought it because of the color screen that I usually use because I travel so often. Also because of it's many neat features like weather and topo maps.
