  2. Take a look at GC35Yx2. Second year for this game and we had a blast last year.
  3. Why not use the "junk" in a way no one expects. Use a permanent marker on them to write numbers. They have to select the right "junk" in the right order to get the coords to the log. In addition you could secure a key to one of the pieces of "junk" (or even a couple of pieces and only one would be the correct key). This would unlock the padlock on the final ammo can with the log. You would of course have to add clues on the cache page to help them figure out the "right junk".

  5. I have been using Sculpey clay. I was a bit worried the first time I made one, sat it on my deck for the winter. It was in an unprotected spot and lasted the whole winter. In my area we got huge amounts of snow that winter. It came through without a problem. Sculpey is a clay you bake after baking, I paint it then cover it with an outdoor clear coat. The first Sculpey cache has been out almost a year now. The only repairs I have had to do is when the glue I used failed or when a cache has been stolen. I made two of each cache for this reason. I can swap it out and repair as needed without having to really change the container. I mold the glue around a water type container then bake. (make sure container is bakeable) There are other ways to do this without baking the container. But, this post is getting to long, email if you need more information.
  6. Cachers who whine about wet unsignable logs, yet never carry extra logs so they can replace wet, unsignable logs.
  7. I would like to suggest you have a special icon just for night caches. I am sure I am not the only cacher that loves night caches and would like to be able locate them quickly for download. Perhaps a crescent moon rather than a question mark?
