I have been looking around for some help on re-installation of a garmin 60cs and 6.02 city select after a hard drive failure. Can't seem to find the help I need and after talking with garmin I still can't get the PC to see the gps. I get to a point where it ask for a installation disc that came with the gps and can't get any further. I have everything including the box it came in but I don't remember a installation disc. I have trip and waypoint manager plus the city select maps and thats all that came with it. Can someone tell me if there was a installation disc or how to install the gps. I have installed web-updater and communicator but that dosen't help because it keeps asking for the installation disc. Anyone have any suggestions that may help. I am going to get a new computer sometime soon. Will I have trouble transfering map source software for my 60cs to the new computer? Thanks in advance for any help. Icomman

I have a very nice Garmin 60cs and I was wondering if there was much reason to upgrade to the 60csx with the exception of increased memory. I have been inactive caching lately but have renewed interest. Comments appreciated. Icomman

Hope someone can help with a few questions. I currently have a Garmin 60cs and city select on my laptop. Targot had a Garmin GPS 18 on sale which I bought. What I want to do is connect the GPS 18 to my laptop, and use my currently installed City Select. I know that I must install nRoute and it also ask's for the City Select CD one and two. Will this be another install? I have one unlock left. I also want to send the new City Select to my daughter to use with a Vista. I guess what I am asking is how do I acomplish all this? I am a newbee as stated in an earlier post. My question is this. If I buy a Magellan 315 and opt to buy a PC cable, what will gained by this? I know there will be a firmware update, but the cost of the cable is kind of steep for an old unit. Should I be looking at something else? May be willing to spend $300. Thanks to those that reply. Could someone help me out with with the difference's between the Garmin 76, 76c and the 76cs. Do they all have auto track, compass, altimeter and the large memory. I'm having trouble finding the difference. I'm a newbee and could use some help. Thanks to all that respond. Icomman
