Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've been around here.... somewhere between grad school and the rest of real life, I have slowly lost my interest in geocoins. I miss the hobby and the people, but sadly I don't really have the time or finances for it anymore. So with that in mind, I decided to sell off the majority of my collection. The last thing I expected today when I checked my mail was to get one of these beautiful mystery coins! Mine is number 93. This was the highlight of my day, and gave me a much-needed smile. AND it brought me back to the forums, where I have a lot of catching up to do! Thank you so much!!

I voted, and my animal was a horse. Just like anne.and.eli, continuing the ways in which we are alike. Rolling Dog Ranch sounds like such a wonderful place! I will never forget the deaf dog that we had at our local shelter, who was so misunderstood and really needed a special place for her to go. I hope they have great success moving to New Hampshire... but moving to New England to avoid cold winters? Hah! Edit: Gatoulis, it's almost 6pm here on the Pacific Coast, so another 6 hours to go!

Anne has a picture somewhere of her sleeping on the couch hugging Mishka just like a teddy bear. Maybe we can get her to post it! Mishka is my niece-dog. I love her!! She is amazing.

I volunteer at the same shelter, working with the dogs. I can say with certainty that the dogs are already appreciating some of these toys! I gave a rope ball and small rope tug toy to a group of 2 month old pug puppies, and another slightly larger rope tug toy to a super-excited pit bull. Thank you, drneal!

Wow, great list! I just wanted to share that it is absolutely HILARIOUS that anne.and.eli and I are trading coins, since we carpool every day and live about 10 minutes from each other. Saves me a bubble mailer! I will be double checking my list and mailing out coins end of this week. Got a huge work deadline on Wednesday at midnight.
