It's spec'ed at getting within 10 meters (~35 feet), where my SporTrak is spec'ed at 3 meters with WAAS. I wondered what that might mean. The ads emphasize boating and driving use -- they don't mention geocaching. Those were the two things that worried me a little.

How can I get a list of past events? Say all the events in the past year within 100 miles of me. PQs don't work. If an event is past it doesn't come up in an PQ, or I don't know how to make past events come up.

However after I created my FTF bookmark list and went to one of the cache pages I see it showing up twice. Is it me or gc.com? Thanks

If you mean forum posts, it's been a very long time since I did it but at that time the only thing that never changed was the name on the forum posts I made before the name change.

I know I must be missing the obvious but I cannot figure out where/how to set things to keep a copy of Personal Messages and to Track them. Under the previous system it seemed to keep copies of sent PMs without me having to do anything, or I set it that was so long ago I've forgotten doing it. But, I can't find where I set it in the new forum software. I know you can check the boxes to save and track but I forget to check them and I want to save copies and track every time so setting it to default is the better way anyhow. How do I set these defaults?

I don't think any one doubts that you were able to log a find on a virtual cache on Geocaching.com - there are still many active virtuals on the site which allow logging. Virtuals were NOT disabled at the end of last year. That was my question. There was at least one person who thought they had terminated virtuals. Me. That's why I asked the question. I was surprised to learn they were still active and findable/logable. This leads to the next question. Is there any current plan to terminate virtuals, or will existing virtuals be grandfathered and be able to be logged from now on?

I don't understand these replies. Or the mumbo jumbo in the references. It was a simple question. Can you still log finds on virtuals. The answer is yes. I just created a find log for this virtual cache just to see if it could be done. As you can see I just logged it today (10 minutes ago, actually). The find was accepted and added to my virtual find count. You can go to my profile and check if you want. It has been found 4 times this year not counting mine. The last find was on March 20 I did not actually find this cache and so I will delete my log, probably tomorrow after doubting Thomas' here have a chance to verify the log worked.

I must have misunderstood what happened at the turn of the year. I thought gc put an end to virtual caches. But, I had occasion to go to a virtual I'd logged a while back and noticed that the "log it" buttons still seem to work.

Any answer yet? Same question. I like and use the PDF format, but I keep forgetting it doesn't decrypt so I find myself in the woods painfully decrypting useless stuff like "Had to break out the cheat sheets, aye" while chiggers crawl up my legs.

Is there a way to copy a pocket query to use as a template, and thus make adjustments to it to create a new query rather than having to create one that is almost identical from scratch? If so, how?
