  3. Just wanted to thank RSG again for helping me get a carpe diem coin for my philosophy professor! I can't thank Lara enough, and thank you to the mystery coiner for sending out these great coins. Dr. Newman was very pleased with it. I had shown my carpe diem to him several months ago and he loved it. Thanks guys!
  4. Sounds good... I will shoot you an email later... I'm at work on my iPhone now and my dad is working on my pc. Thanks TMA!
  5. That's neat.... I live in Portsmouth Ohio.... The stoppin point on the Ohio river for the ohio-Erie canal. I will have to put it on my seeking list.
  6. Wow.... Those turned out great... Lara is very deserving of the coin.... I can really attest to that. Congratulations in advance to all of the soon-to-be owners of the coin.
  7. Does anyone have a pic of the reverse side of the coin? Pretty please?
  8. Did you think about 3 step ups... starting from the outside... and then two step down's.... making it more "flower-like"? I figure that it is probably too late to think about the dimensional design.... just wondering
  9. I know what it means... but I live in Ohio... so we aren't too far from the border.
  10. It's okay Ruud... you still have the other kidney
  11. Hmmm.... haven't guessed for awhile.... How's about April 16th 53.46
  12. Hey All.... I'm not entering the cointest... but I don't know if I ever formally introduced myself. My Real name is Zach... 23. My wife and I live in southern Ohio, but will be moving soon (hopefully) so that I can go to grad school somewhere, anywhere for Surgical Physician's Assistant studies. Hopefully this will take us southward, but time will tell. Ashley is an Occupational Therapy Assistant. We were gradeschool friends since we were 5. I moved away and then moved back. We ran into each other about 10 years later and I immediately asked her on a date. We've now been married a year and everything has been pretty great. She's going to be my sugarmomma for the next couple of years until I'm finished with school... and then I will return the favor for her. As far as caching is concerned, I think that I started in June of 2009. I quickly reached 100 caches and then I have died down a bit since then... not losing interest, but amount of caches within reasonable driving distance. Hopefully, when we move there will be a greater concentration of caches. I stumbled into the General forums and noticed a lot of bickering. I didn;t stay there long. After finding my first coin, though, I quickly made way to the coin forums... which is much more accepting. I've been checking in here daily ever since. Ah my Avatar... I chose the name Goosefraba because I am addicted to Adam Sandler movies... period. I think that he is a very fun loving guy and probably lives life about the same way that he goes about in his movies. The movie "Anger Management" uses the phrase "goosefraba" as an Eskimo a way to calm down. I always thought it was funny... and a good topic starter. Thanks everyone!
  13. I am still the biggest fan of blacked out darth.... Although the shadowing on the gold is superb!
  14. Lol... I like the idea that they can't get away from each other I do foresee trouble with cachers moving both coins... err realizing that they need to "grab" and "drop" both coins at every destination.
  15. What is on the bottom 3rd from left? That is a really neat color scheme... same with middle 4th from left.
  16. you may have mine. he sounds like a great person! Email sent... thank you so much for the offer... that was quick!
  17. 1. when, where and what geocoin did you see first? The first coin I saw was an Adrenaline Coin in a cache in Ashland, KY. I had been caching for a couple months.... so I knew what it was and I showed all of my friends before placing it in another cache. 2. when and what geocoin did you first buy?My first purchase was Celtic Tree of Life Red on Silver... Although I should give credit to Gardengorilla for sending me my first coin. 3. when did you make your first personal coin? N/A if you haven't yet, why not? N/A... Let's see how to put this... I just don't make enough money... yet. When I am finished with school you better believe it! 4. when and what did you trade your first geocoin? My first trade I guess would be considered My Davey Jones' Locker Aqua for Dancing Couple's coin... I think. 5. did you find the forums first or a geocoin first? I am pretty sure that I found the general forums first (unfortunately)... and then a coin... and then the coin forums. Thanks for the COINTEST!
  18. Oh.... My mistake. Carry on.
  19. If you are really worried about it, contact the coin owner. Chances are that they don't care aboutthe coin's mileage, though. I doubt that this would be a big deal and you probably shouldn't lose sleep over any of it. Most coin owners will appreciate that the coin got moved and that it saw new sights.
  20. I'm looking to trade for another Carpe Diem coin. I know that they are such great coins that they are hard to give up.... So my search may be in vain. I am trying to get one for my philosophy professor/ friend/ minister for his several years of helping me in life an to get into grad school. If you're interested please contact me. Thanks!
  21. Well the important thing is the coin is still traveling
  22. Wow.... its been that long? Time flies... huh?
  23. At least yours is moving :/
  24. Congrats to the winners.... and hopefully LongTom will get some sleep tonight
