  1. I’m wondering, Does this sport have any races like this??? With the use of gpsr, Solo or with a Team, you will look for hidden caches along the course to reduce minutes off your overall time for finishing the course.. This race could be ran as a competitive race or just a fun event…I’m thinking along the lines of Cross-Country Orienteering, but with the use of gpsr… Or does anybody hold (Hash & Cache) events????
  2. Shhh. We don't only want to give away a good fishing spot now... So when the fish stop biting....Check out!!! Jenny's Mountain Home by Gavin and Maggie the dog (GCGGPW) Don't Jump Jenny! by Skully & Mulder et al. (GC98C4) Jenny Jump Rumble by trail hound (GCK7CG)

  4. Yes, Ghost lake is a great place to fish and now also cache You should check it out in the next few weeks Just remember to bring your gps'r and fishing pole
  5. Hey Dude, Welcome!!! ... If you like riding your mountain bike & caching.. Check out the trails in Allamuchy. It's a nice to place to ride and bag a few caches along the way... Search=07820
  6. I found the aerobar to be a perfect place to mount the eTrex. It's hard to explain (and I don't have pics) but the eTrex fit very nicely between the aerobar grips and where the aerobar mounts to the handlebars. I think this is where my (Profile-Design Aero Drink System) is located. But I'll go and take a second look..
  7. Of course you no longer need the cycling computer if you put your Garmin in the detail mode. It can show you everything on one screen. Detail mode is no good for me It dosen't have cadence, trip elevation gain, climbing percent and cumulative altitude gain... That's just to name a few
  8. I found out after buying the eTrex handlebar mount that it useless for most bikes. I tried placing it on my bars only to find out it takes up to much room that I did not have, Since I already have a cycling computer, heart rate monitor, and aero extensions on my road bars. In addition, my mountain and road bars are bigger than the one-inch diameter, at the spot I need to place the unit. Therefore, I have to use a plastic zip-tie into the hole where the bolt goes to mount it…So I just keep my gps’r in my back jersey pocket for now.
  9. I only have a little over 200+ finds… So this is my top 10 list... 10. I'm having a problem with my click stick also. Mine takes a long time before it will move to the right . I only notice this problem entering letters or numbers..Guess I'll have to give Garmin a call
  11. My heartiest congratulations on this milestone
  12. One has the and one doesn't. Which is one of the reasons I started this topic. Both Maneater caches should be listed “significant” in my book…And it’s not just b/c of the distance hiking to the cache…That's my $.02
  13. I'm going snowshoing tomorrow at Whittingham WMA.. Unless I can find a better place..All is welcome to join me, But don't ask me for any clues on TRL's caches
  14. Trail Hound hits 300 at "BREAKFAST at the LINCOLN" event... Wow, that was quick my friend. You certainly haven’t let the grass grow under your feet!!! Now if I can only say the same for myself.. Congrats on a job well done!!!
