  1. I have this unit and never put it into use for this sport. I was thinking about searching for caches with it when I'm on vacation, since i never bring along any other of my gps units with me, but i always bring this one. So whats one take on this unit for caching? Does it get you close to a waypoint??Or does one have to search outwards of a 100ft to find ones cache container? Or result into reading and having the clues on hand to make the search painless???What's one take on this???
  2. Help!!!! Help!!!! Hey, how good is this unit for marking/finding waypoints??? Does it have WAAS???Or is it like an old Yellow Etrex??? I was thinking of using my unit caching when i'm out trail running, or in NY City. Is this a good idea, or am I going to be off 50-100Ft when using this unit and only get frustrated???

  9. The absolute worst thing you can do. It can trigger the bear's pursuit instinct. Something running away could spell "dinner" to a bear. And no human being can out run a bear. I've seen them run and they are FAST. You should back away slowly, while facing the bear, but avoiding eye contact. I agree 100% with what you said..In addition, I always thought I would do the same. However, having this sucker come face to face with out any warning. Well that's what made me make the bad choice of Running/Falling...It was I just had no time to think. And I was totally off guard... Also, My sister lives in Blairstown, And she has bears that come into her yard every spring to climb the trees for cherries. When they walk by us is in the yard it's never a problem, and we know how to respond...It's Just when they give you no warning, that’s what messes with my mind..

We regret having to remove certain caches, but, at this point in time, we had no other viable alternative. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may caused you and are most appreciative of your cooperation and understanding in this matter. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Allez Comp & xUSxEMOxKIDSx
