  1. Bugger ... We just spent Easter/Anzac Day w/e in Alb/Wod from WA for a friend's wedding. We used to live there 25 years ago so was good to get back for a look. Managed a few caches while there but would really have appreciated the wedding being on NEXT year!! Good luck with the event
  2. Team Bungarra from The Land of Oz will take two gold thanks.
  3. Your coords for Where's in a Name equate to between Bundaberg and Maryborough also Fraser Island on the east coast (Queensland) ... or just south of Ayers Rock (AKA Uluru) in central Australia ... or on the West Coast between Carnarvon and Shark Bay. I am a Western Australian and do not think there are any cachers in that area as is it somewhat remote. Also do not believe there any cachers 100-odd km south of Ayers Rock! Your best chance would be someone from Queensland and I would suggest you log on to geocaching.com.au then go into the Queensland members area to post a message. I am sure you would have some luck there. I am still trying to attempt that cache but need someone from Texas (better option). Good luck with your search
  4. I am in a dilemma here .... 1. Do you hate red trucks because firefighters drive them and sometimes start fires ... 2. Is it OK to leave red trucks in caches?
  5. Hi .. I'm relatively new in this sport/hobby/pastime/addiction (!) and have recently upgraded to Premium membership. I had hoped to find the answer to my question on the 'Premium Membership' pages but so far haven't had any luck. I would like to put my own background image on my cache pages, as I note so many others have done, but cannot find any advice on how to do this. Can anyone help please?
  6. I have been plugging away at a multi for a couple of weeks that is titled A-Z Canberra Tours which has (you guessed it!) 26 waypoints! I thought it would be fun to begin with but when I got to WP25 I was concerned that the final was around 10kms away from where the car would be parked. I contacted the owner and confirmed the final location and he also confirmed that I would have to hike 10kms round trip - hopefully having found the cache along the way. I like multi's and don't really consider myself a number cruncher but after having racked up over 450km (300mi) to get the 25 waypoints, I don't believe I am inspired to hike (uphill) for 5km and then back again. I am needless to say quite disappointed that I had no warning of the distances involved until it was 'too late'. I (and I am sure most others) wouldn't even hike 10km for a traditional cache ...
