  1. Ian your original log seems to have reappeared on the cache page Jon ah... now I see you new entry? ah... I can't keep up with this
  2. Congratulations Lester! I expect your find rate to increase dramatically with all that spare time soon Jon
  3. A non-caching partner who is not a member of the 'Team' is surely able to act as chauffeur, but not to physically go hunt for the cache. Jon
  4. So hands up then... how many UK cachers go armed with 'trowels' when caching?
  5. Very well done and congratulations! Jon

  8. I wouldn't have either, although I think you should go back another day and find it Seriously though, as long as you don't log it as a FTF (like some cachers have done before I recall), I can't see anyone objecting, least not the cache owner Jon
  9. Personally I'd never use one of these again. They are not at all watertight. Bear in mind even if the log is in a small waterproof bag it will go missing - and I speak from experience Jon

  12. Yes I must admit to feeling the same way about this. I have yet to 'discover' the value of this networking facility... oh OK then I have no friends Jon
  13. Wahey Ali Very well done on the 2000! My warmest congratulations... it must be a great feeling? Jon
  14. Here's the official announcement It's s shame because as Dorsetgal and GeoDog say... there surely must have been a way to accomodate this facility beyond the cut-off date. I think this was a backward step, and what additional 'tools' have become available since? Jon
  15. If I told you I'd have to shoot you! Jon
  16. Allied to this... I used to print out the last 5 logs on the 'print friendly' page. Is this still possible because I can't see how to do it now? Jon
  17. I ran a PQ at 0830 hrs this morning and it came throught in a few mins. Jon
  18. Looks like he's now over terra firma and has already broken 3 world records! His basket is only 4' x 4' and has a flap he can open to stick his feet out when he naps......... I bet that's a sight! Jon
  19. I have only experinced one contact with Garmin UK. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LU...54-1ce1520e2546 I am impressed! Jon
