I requested a gekko right away, got the confirmation that I would be recieving one, but as of today stilll no little green critter in my mailbox

I think one (make that two) of our faves werea series of miniature trash cans filled with black slime, and in the slime was a bison tube with a tiny clear bottle, inside which was the log! It was pretty disgusting to me but the kids LOVED it! This local cacher is known in the area for some pretty creative caches and cache pages.

Congrats on the move! I would be happy to adopt any of you caches in the LaGrange/Noble county area.

Planning on being there again this year! We might even camp on the grounds instead of at a hotel.....not sure on that yet. Can't wait!

Are they still going to have this event? There are a lot of activities that are being canceled due to the flu issue, so I was wondering if this one is going to fall by the wayside too? If it is still happening we hope to be there!

I just discovered that a local Military surplus store is going out of business and is having a major sale! I got 2 7.62mm ammo cans for $4 each! they have several different sizes, all on sale for 20 % off. Everything in the store is on sale! If you need anything along the lines of Military issue be sure to check it out! It's called the Enterprise and is in Angola IN right on US 20. I have the phone # if anyone is interested. We want to do a multi/puzzle type cache, but i'm not sure if it would be approved. The first stage will have two sets of coords hidden in the container among several items, one to stage two, which would then have coords to stage three. The other set of coords would lead directly to stage three. Stage three would have the log and swag in it. What do you think?

There was also a geocaching family on Extreme Makeover Home Edition on Sunday night. They got to go to Hawaii and the host even used geocaching to give the family a new hybrid car and Disney vacations. I thought that was really cool......talk about the ultimate FTF prize!

Hey all! I have a friend who is in the Toledo Ohio area who told me of their monthly "meet and eat" meetings, and it got me wondering if there is anything like that in the Northeast IN area? I would love to meet some other cachers nearby. I have also been trying to join a couple of the yahoo groups for Indiana geocachers, but am still waiting for approval.....not sure what is going on.....any ideas? Bunni

We found one this weekend in Michigan that was an unused beehive....the type that you use for honey harvesting. That is the biggest so far

I need help! I was lucky enough to get one of the geocoins at the silent auction today, but when I went to try to retrive the activation code I wasn't able to. HELP!!!! It is the "Tribute to the Unknown Soldier" coin, and it is shaped like a pair of dogtags. I would really like to be able to activate this coin and send it on a mission, but without the code I can't. If anyone can help me find out how to get this coin actvated I'd appreciate it. Thank You! BunniK

Hey all We've just started this obsession a few weeks ago and just this weekend will log just over a hundred finds! We are planning to go to GeoBash next weekend and look forward to meeting some fellow crazies! lol We are located in the NE corner of Indiana so we cache in IN, MI and OH.

Hey all! BunniK here, new to the game (one week) but having a BLAST! We're in the NE corner of Indiana . I'm looking forward to learning more about this new obsession! I also picked up "letterboxing" this week too and since I don't have a GPSr yet, I've been doing that when I can't borrow one....lol Anything to feed the addiction!....lol Any advice for a newbie?
