I've been trying to make maps using GeoCaching GPS points. Archview (GIS Software) has a DNRGarmin extension for importing, but it won't read EZGPS files. Does anyone know of a more direct way to get waypoints into Archview than uploading into GPS Unit, then using the DNRGarmin to download into Archview? Has anyone here used GPS/Archview combo before? I have wanted to create a virtual cache where you had to see a certain set of 'city things' along a route. Does anyone know of a way to post a Route to a GeoCache site, rather than a single waypoint? Let's assume noone really wants to manually input 10 or so waypoints from a text listing on the page. If nothing else, I will post an EZGPS file on a personal FTP site, and provide a link to download. Thanx Boris, of >Twilightpoint<

We have been using our GPS unit to mark locations of 'Green', or sustainable resources in the community, and then compile them into a map for distribution. Sites include farmer's markets, community gardens, bike parking, environmental oriented businesses, recycling centers, etc. We have been pulling them into Archview (GIS software)... this is all fairly new to us, so if anyone has experience, please contact us! eutrophic@earthlink.net Boris, of >Twilightpoint<
