i say no, because i dont even look at cache size when i search. it'll just be a bigger pain in the butt for me. i'm already not all that happy with the new box system, so to have something other than a green box to describe what i was already looking for will really make me insane.

yeah, i had hover text as well... my one concern... was this the result of numerous people complaining about micros v. regulars here on these threads? because i will admit, the concept of the boxes are good... but i really dont care for them at all. really. i usually go out hunting for caches without even looking at what size it is. this feature wont really help me, but rather annoy me out of my bob the builder pajamas.

hm... i just spraypainted a film canister with some old paint. no wonder it didnt work.

well, i have both the zip code and the &f=1 addresses bookmarked, so i can check on caches i have already found without too much hastle.

i think i've gone back to the same urban micro seven times... granted, visits 4-6 werent as long as the others, because of time or muggles.

yeah, i can see where the problem comes in... ive seen boards where you wait for twenty minutes for a page to load just because of people loading their sigs with pictures.

just curious... anyone notice that threads are more often being closed because they are "off-topic?" just curious. not trying to make a point or anything. well, maybe a thought attached to it... since the creation of the off-topic forums, people (mostly non-members) have had more locked threads. is it because the mods have become less lenient now, now that there is a definite off-topic area?

hm... wub smileys? i think what you're gonna have to do is 1. save the picture as a file on your computer 2. find some sort of free online webspace for files (i recommend www.glpics.com) 3. upload the picture onto the webspace 4. put an image tag [ img src=http://www.glpics.com/username/filename.ext ] in your sig 5. make sure html is on in your sig (checkbox under the enter sig box) and in five easy and tutti fruuti steps, you've got some wubbin!

a little tip if you want to block out the caches you've already found/planted... when you view the cache list, add &f=1 to the web address, and the found ones will be hidden.

okay, then how far is "far enough apart?" at least 200 feet?

this is mostly directed toward any approver... i understand that any stage in a multi must be at least 1/10 of a mile from any other cache... but do stages within a multi have to be over 1/10 mile?

as far as i know (which isnt much, so consider this sentence as a disclaimer for all the following), you go to the "edit your profile" page, and fill in the text in the sig. i think if you want bold and etcetera, you would use the code tags on this here board. in other words, type up what you want here on the board, then copy/paste the whole shindig with code tags and all over to your profile. i dont know. my first time trying to help someone on something like this. am i even close?
