  1. I was sitting there when your log came through on Billy's email. I read your answers to the five original questions. You got two out of five right. That means, you got three out of five wrong. Geoware told Billy to change his requirements and he did so and now you whine and moan, still. But do not make an attempt at getting the five original questions right. So now, you are supposed to be able to log an earthcache without sending the correct answers. No picture is supposed to be supplied. All that one needs to do to log an earthcache now is to convince TPTB at Groundspeak that you were at the location. Learning has the Earthcache category. You need not make any attempts. One of these days, Groundspeak will take into consideration the opinion of those who go to the trouble to put earthcaches together and list caches for others to find and for once, side with the cache owner. But not today. FYI, we haven't been in the forums this year to read the changes in Earthcaches. I went to the "Groundspeak" guidelines and read that "photo" requirements were up to the cache owner. Seems like Earthcache.org and Geocaching.com were not on the same page here. I heard Billy say more than once, if "Dude" gets the answers right, I don't have a problem with him logging it. So, instead of concentrating on the new questions, concentrate on getting your five original questions right and send him the answers. I'm tired of hearing about it already. ---- I'm done, now. I have to go edit a few earthcaches for the new information I received today.
  2. Greater East Tennessee Geocaching Club The Greater East Tennessee has been around for four years. It's a great group of friends that like to get together and have fun playing the game and giving back to the community.
  3. Just what is a ridiculous number? Ask someone in your area that does numbers runs to let you tag along with them for one day. Walkie-Talkies are a must so that everyone is on the same route. I could try and tell you how, but it is much more believable when you just do it. If possible offer to split the gas and ride with them, so that you can see how the extra gadgets and routing software works. Happy Holidays
  4. I don't think anything about the numbers. I like caching. It doesn't matter if I find one a week or 100 a week. It seems to matter to others more. I can not even tell you what the number of caches found in one day is for me personally. But I had a very good time!!! I don't see it as the biggest and the bestest. I never post in logs, 1 of however many, because that isn't what really matters. Cache runs in cache dense areas are fun. Finding an exceptional amount of caches in one day is quite invigorating. Some people don't get it. Some people do. With the gas prices what they area, if I'm traveling, I want more bang (cache finds) for my buck. I'm not against doing 1 or 2 caches in a day. I've found just as interesting and intriguing areas on numbers runs as well as hikes. That 11 stage multi counts the same as that drive by micro. I like the gadgets. Caching with up to five GPS units, a PDA, online capability, and a laptop with mapping capability. If one runs out of a pocket query, in a few minutes, one can have a new PQ uploaded and continue on. The folks that do the numbers runs understand the thrill of it and it isn't for everyone. That's what they make filters for. You make your own adventure. Like I said before.... Instead of asking why someone cheats, why don't you ask them how they did it? Happy Holidays...
  5. Why is it always that someone is lying. Why not ask how it is done?
  6. Max Cacher! He's been an inspiration and a big help.

  10. Yes, I remember up the creek without a paddle and in a CAVE without a flashilight also. ARGHH! If you be testing the plank first, I'll be walkin the plank also. Err, that is if the cannon is aimed in the other direction.... Uhmmmm .... I'm bringin a life vest. I can see your next personal geocoin. A flamin' tennis ball!
  11. I had my Moses coins dropped in my hand and didn't have to climb up a bluff that was 2 tenths or walk across a log over water or walk a trussle or I-beam bridge to get to. But would have surely done any of these things to get this coin. I love it. The detail and the colors are great. It's just one of the coins that feels like you are holding something in your hand. Pictures do not do this coin justice, it is very classy. This is a VERY nice addition to my collection and is one of my favorites as well as the cacher. Moses! You Rock!!!... and Roll sometimes according to JayPea. Thanks for the coin and getting me in those adventurous caching situations and not letting me get hurt.

  24. The one you received when I recieved your reservation for the coin. The next thing will be invoice time. When the puzzle coins arrive, and are shipped out... The invoices for the GeoFood coin should go out. I didn't want to take money for this coin if it was going to be a while before they went into production. I wanted the shortest amount of time for the coin to arrive in your mailbox. Hope this is okay. I am still accepting reservations for the coin. I think that I am going to also do a gold version of the coin. If you have reserved coins, and which to add gold or substitue gold coins, you need to let me know that you have already made reservations for the coin when you contact me. Thanks, B1/2
  25. I sent confirmations out for those that have reserved coins. If you didn't receive a confirmation email, then I didn't get an email reserving coins The invoices will be sent out when the coins go into production. I am also considering adding a gold version of this coin, but like I said, considering at this point. Thanks, B1/2
