  1. Used to be when I opened the GO TO MAP option that the map would come up with all the caches shown (green-traditional, orange-multi, etc.) as these were checked in the filter. Last fall my map when accessed only shows now mystery and some multi caches, no traditional, letterbox, etc. I've gone to the filters page and basically have selected show all and applied. Works for that time then after closing geocaching (not logging off) to go to another site it automatically re-sets it self to only mystery and some multi caches. When I go back in to the filters they are all unchecked again. Anyway to correct this so when open the GO TO MAP that it again shows all the caches without me having to go back and re-set the filters?
  2. Interested too. Was just about to post a subject on this as search didn't show anything.
  3. 10-4, will remove it. Did just message owner and informed what did and asked if he'd like it kept with this or not.
  4. Don't know if this will be appropriate here or should start a new thread or if anyone can point me in the right direction. Got to a cache and could obviously see where it was supposed to be (coordinates were also spot on) and how it was hid but no container. A bit of looking and found the top of the container (yellow cap with camo tape on top) a few feet away but nothing else. Since there was no log to sign then is this to be considered a dnf? I made up a new container and replaced it the next day with paper in a baggie and did sign this. Dnf? Contact person who set it? Leave it as a found cache?
  5. Okay, close this if you want. Have been searching for an hour now and finally came up with it being a trail register where the Allegheny National Forest trail and the south section of Rock Run trail seperate. It is a mailbox attached to a tree with a smurf decal on front. Set up for signing the log seemed much the same with some swap items inside. Again this was only the second one I thought I found and didn't know a difference, sorry about that. Is the bottom left picture on the page. https://www.pahikes.com/community/entry/hiking-the-south-loop-of-rock-run-trails
  6. Okay, now I feel stupid. Checking the marked waypoint again and misread it. Is N40 degrees 56.479 and W .077 degrees 59.022. Misread the 079 and it is actually 077.
  7. Was doing some hiking in the Moshannon Park (PA) and suddenly spotted something and immediately (being the smart person I am) said "that's a cache!". I only have the coordinates it posted on my gps when I hit waypoint think it was. It is N40degrees 56.479 w079 degrees 59.022. Sorry if lingo is wrong. Log was wet as plastic bag was torn so replaced the bag.
