Since the travelling cache is no longer allowed, can I make a TB into a microtraveller? Essentially it would be a 35mm film canister or similar small container with a log. The only difference would be that it would be placed in another cache instead of being hidden as its own cache. Is there any reason why this would not be allowed? I really love the idea of travelling caches but got into "the game" too late to create any, although I have logged one (Wander Indiana Micro-Traveller). Thoughts only. Thanks!

The last cache I did had several candy bars in it along with a sealed pop-tarts pouch. I'm now thinking I should have removed the food items but at the time thought it would be improper. I did post in my log that there was food in the cache in hopes that the cache owner would remove them. Would I have been out of line to take it upon myself to remove the food items? Just curious

At best I've gotten 10, but I'm capable of getting 12.

Does or has anyone used the swivel mounting bracket for the Sporttrack, specifically the model 701258? How does this bracket mount to the surface? Is it a suction cup or does this need to be screwed to the mounting surface? Thanks, KB9BIT

I believe that placing a cache while on vacation is no longer approved. Don't know the reason but maybe due to not being able to maintain if you're not around. I have a few very favorite places where I like to stop while travelling and would like to hide a cache in some of these places. Do you think it would be approved if I could get the cache sponsored by a local geocacher, i.e. they would maintain it, or would it be best to just contact a willing person in or near the area that would post it after being hidden? Just curious.
