I have a Etrex Legend and have been using the cable provided to connect to my PC to download waypoints etc.. We made the switch to mac from PC - can I get a connection with a firewire or a USB? Not sure if they are available or if I'll have to do my geocaching uploads from my old PC. Thanks1

I am new to the world of GPS and after quite a bit of research I purchased the Legend. It's been a few weeks now and I am very happy with my purchase. I don't have previous GPS experience to compare vs. the Legend. It does take a few minutes to warm up and get a lock, but not so long to cause a problem. I'm very happy with my purchase. ..... be even happier when I get my rebate check back!

Another woman here .....just found my first ever cache this morning! It was loads of fun and the dog is completely pooped out. I am a semi-nerd, but don't mind that at all.

I did some comparison shopping and got a good deal on the Legend. Factor in an additional $30 rebate and the decision was even easier. I am busy trying to figure out what to buy in terms of software (any suggestions?) and also trying to figure out exactly how to use the new toy.

Hi - just wanted to pop in and say hello. I'm new to geocaching - I just bought an eTrex Legend yesterday and have been busy entering potential caches to find. I thought geocaching would be a great way to take some different hikes with my chocolate lab. We are located in northeast MA and spend lots of time in the White Mountains.
