Hi Everyone, This newbie has a question. Please forgive for I do not intend to step on anyone's shoes (or hiking boots). The question is this : why would a fellow geocacher keep placing the same TB in and out of caches? This has happened 4 times with the same TB. In the cache and out of it on the same day. Since we are new, are we missing something? Thanks

Hi everyone, Something I have noticed lately is there seems to some geocachers who will take and place a TB without checking where the TB owner wants the TB to go or do. This may sound silly, we have found many TBs, but have only taken one because of the owners wishes. Many of the TBs found did not belong in the cache because of the impossibility of the location matching the aim or goal of the TB. Thanks.

My first and only GPS is the Garmin Vista and I love it. Most of the time I get within 20 feet or less of the target.

Hello, we are fairly new to the GPS and Geocaching and I have a question about loading coordinate formats. I downloaded Easy GPS so I wouldn't have to manually enter coordinates. Before I used the printed cache page or current location to enter the coordinates. When I set up my Garmin Vista (per the Easy GPS instructions) to be able to download from the pc, the coordinate format was changed to hddd.ddddd. I now notice that previously entered waypoints (entered manually from the cache page or direct from actual location) are way off. My question is this: I will mostly use Easy GPS to enter coordinates with my GPS configured appropriately but what do you do if for some reason you need to enter a coordinate directly from a cache page which is in a different format? I need your help. Thanks
