  1. Considering how much those shirts cost I would be very happy to get another one from a cache. Washing machines do wonders for dirty clothes or so I have been told.
  2. Gee, I wonder how giant a rear end must be to support a giant pain. 300 or 400 lbs perhaps? Would one be able to tell where the rear end stopped and the rest of the body began?
  3. Gosh we are certainly getting a range of response from A to Z!
  4. As a CCRyder instructor I would be forced to condemn this idea right off the starting line. It totally disrupts the concept of riding with 100% concentration and 60% of your riding ability. Even a heads up display can make you miss the idiot who is about to t-bone or tailgate your butt while it's hanging out in the wind.
  5. It ain't cheap but I use a 5 megapix Olympus D560 for my everyday capture machine. It fits in my pocket, takes truly excellent photos and will take a 2gig chip. Since I sell a certain amount of my photos as Jonny Saturn Productions I also use a Sony Handicam and an 8 megapix Olympus EV300 SLR. I think spending the extra bucks to get a real camera is well worth the effort especially if you intend to blow them up a bit.
  6. Like Kstone said but I also use the buttons below, one of which will identify the caches on the map by name. Also on the right side you can filter by type and such. Have Fun!
  7. My only competition is myself and I'm easy.
  8. And now I'm using a doggie pic cause I like doggies.
  9. 14 years as a CalArNG 95Bravo with 4 years AGR guarding our illustrious Governor at the time. 2 years part time duty as an asset canine handler for Homeland security. I have a lot of respect for the officers who put themselves in harms way on a daily basis. A young friend of mine who was a motor officer was shot when he stopped at a liquor store to get a 6pack after shift. Unfortunately it was being robbed. Didn't have a chance.
  10. There is a lot of very imaginative insanity driving this thread! I say new meds all around and maybe at least one set of limb and torso restraints. And I fired the landlord for sharing management secrets with the lessees.
  11. Is that a Popeye quote? No, that would be "I yam what I yam". What she said uck, uck, uck, uck, uck Actually it would be "I yam what I yam and that's all what I yam". sez Popeye the sailor man.
  12. Voice of the Customer studies are how professionals decide what new products should be brought to the consumer. In my humble opinion Groundspeak has done just that.
  13. Why don't you guys leave Hank alone. I think we all know the issues and answers and a little common sense goes a long way. This is absolutely my last post on this thread.
  14. Thank you, he will be 3 in November and he weighs 94 lbs and was the alpha in the litter. A real handful but a very nice dispsition.
  15. I have one from Sweden which I picked up 2 years ago and another from a California State Park. Both are of hard wood and nicely finished but the first one has a steel tip and a cool Svedish Crest with some writing and a picture of an alp.
  16. I still kinda like the unadorned volunteer logo. It seems to sum up my perceived place in the scheme of benchmark recovery.
  17. Well Hank, here is my transaction with you folks. If I find a stamped bill I will immediately put it back into circulation and log your website as to time, date and place acquired ( if your coding allows this ). It's been fun pushing your blood pressure up for the last few days and I hope you can see that most of us are dedicated geocachers and we mean you no harm. However a muggled cache is a lot more personal than a misplaced bill. Hence the emotional responses. I don't imagine anyone is going to hit you over the head with a shovel unless you are caught in the act of trashing a geocache. I personally would probably strip you naked and send you on your way but that's 20 years of military experience talking. Have a nice day and keep your hands off our caches unless you are acting as part of our process.
  18. Now there is communication and give and take. It's amazing how primates can start with hostile posturing and eventually come to an understanding. Good job Hank! I knew you could do it!
  19. Hank old boy there is a section of law called torts and within that law is a subsection called personal injury. Some of the greatest monetary damage amounts accrue there. You have already shown willingness to harm. You claim to have opportunity. Gosh, two strikes already. There are people here who would gladly own you for muggling their caches. You should try to contain your circular logic and be a nice guy. It woudn't hurt.
  20. I think it would be more like Hank and I against the forum mob. I'd take a bunch of you out before you got me Not if I got to bring my momma!
  21. Once again I find myself strangely in agreement.
  22. Hank, I have a serious question. How many members does the Wheres George organization have? Just wondering.
