    Moses Coin

An awesome coin by a great guy and designed by my favorite designer of all - what is there not to love about this coin? Congrats Moses on the milestone and the coin. Put me down for another one, please. T1
  6. The plan is to be there - along with BackBrakeBilly, BetterHalf and a whole bunch of other Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia cachers. Of course, Peanut may have other plans... T1
  7. AG, Those are BerryPickers6's handmade tokens. They are a family of geocachers in North Georgia, I believe you have met them T1
  8. I missed the silver - if anyone has an extra to trade please let me know. Thanks! T1
  9. You are right Thorny, but I love the old-fashioned way of coins! So do I - the bumps and ridges, etc... - with this one we decided the extra protection of epoxy outweighed the "ridgy feel" of the coins to hopefully give the coins a longer travel life and protect everyones investment Just wait until you get one in your hands, the 3D Georgia and all on the front gives it a little smooth ridge on the front so it's not just straight and smooth all the way across - they look sharp this way, too T1
  10. Gotcha covered, LZ, thank you!
  11. We wanted to make a coin that would fit in even micro caches, so it would travel. And with it having the tracking number engraved and inked we wanted to protect it and the whole coin from the elements (ie... wet caches, etc..) After all, whose gonna pick up a green lump (the copper coin if it sits in a wet cache for awhile) and want to move it on? Not me! I'd clean the cache out and throw it away by accident, not being able to recognize it The epoxy takes care of any problems like that. T1
  12. We'll send the invoices when we close out the preorders and get a firm date for shipping. Preorders will be open for a few more days since we changed the metals so no one is confused or anything about what happened and what is going on T1
  13. OK - the update you've bene waiting for: We have the proofs of the micros. As AtlantaGal pointed out, the antique gold and the antique bronze are too close to each other in color. So we have decided to go with antique copper (instead of antique bronze), antique solver and antique gold. The pictures do not do the coins justice (blame the photographer) but they really look nice. copper, silver and gold front copper, silver and gold back Anyone who preordered the bronze that does not want to be substituted the copper, please let us know. The ordering page will be updated to reflect the changes in a few minutes. We thank you for your patience and hope you like the results! "Those Coin Guys"

  23. Having been on all three sides of this issue (coin maker, coin trader, coin collector) I can say I've seen it from all three sides. I've replaced trades gone missing, we (Those Coin Guys) have replaced lost shipments and now I've had shipments replaced to me. This past week, I had a partial shipment arrive from CH Quality Coins, which he promptly replaced. The funny thing is, the rest of the coins showed up the day I expected the replacements and I assumed those were them. Then the next day the replacements showed up, which I promptly returned to him. Kudos to Tom for that! At the same time, I had a shipment from the GeoCoinStore go missing. I also contacted them, received a prompt reply, we gave it a little extra time and they promptly replaced the shipment. The original one hasn't showed up yet, unfortunately. Kudos to Mike and the gang there! After reading the various posts here and other places I've realized a couple things. Stuff does get lost in the mail, unfortunately. There are good traders and coin makers and customer service hasn't died (yet). Geocachers and GeocoinCollectors are still some of the best folks I know and I'm thankful for that. Sometimes I feel that a lot of the posts on the various boards are negative or negative based, so I wanted to make sure I posted a positive one here about folks that have done it right. My thanks to both of them Steve/Thorny1
  24. Star Trek Lives!!! I love it! We'll look forward to watching it search us out Phasers on stun! T1
