Now they will have less money and therefore less resources for an upgrade - that'll show em....... Confused?? Thought I was the costumer and they're suppose to be showing me?

Well just recently started this "hobby". Was going to upgrade my membership, but until I see the site having fewer issues, that has been put on hold.

update: Went out again yesterday to try some urban foraging...found 10-woot!!!. And as for the accuracy-figured out the prob........switched it out of the battery saver mode. That makes all the difference-went from 60 to 10 feet and that saves a ton of time.

Well thanks for the replies! Much appreciated. Don't mind the weed whacking...just didn't want to leave a "crater" of mashed down weeds from trying to find a cache. Kinda thought that was impolite to the next nature/geocacher onlooker. I have a Garmin 60csx. A fairly good unit from my days of wondering the woods in the past. The ones I tried yesterday had no clues but from the terrain prob not really needed when the weeds are not so thick and tall. And even though I (we) only found one, I and my sidekick (new choc lab pup) had a blast out and about-what it's really all about. l8r

Well started geocaching today. Found 1 cache out of 6 stops....weeds are waist deep and gps was only giving me an average 60 feet accuracy. Noticed that there should be a "seasonal" notation on some of these. Cause there's no way one can find anything without doing a weed whacker search. Might try some urban caches to see how they are.
