  1. Just a reminder that the reservation period ends Feb 27th. And in case anyone was concerned, we found steben6's order.
  2. Yes you did. You should have an email confirmation somewhere as well.
  3. New reservation end date is Feb 27th. Thanks everyone! The scales on the fish are really something to see in person. The mint did a great job on them.
  4. I'm going to be extending the reservation by a week to accommodate some requests I got. I will post the new reservation end date when we get it nailed down. In the meantime, more time to consider getting a coin or two!
  5. My shipping prices are US, Canada: $2.50 first coin, $.50/coin after (flips to flat rate priority mail at $6.50, 9+ coins) International: $3.50 for the first coin, $1/coin (flips to flat rate priority mail at $16.50, 15+ coins) The cost of shipping has been rising, and I will likely need to adjust this in the future, but they will stay this rate for these coins.
  6. Thanks for the interest, everyone! There will be a custom icon.
  7. Thanks everyone! I'm really pleased that you like them! There may be an AE in the future, but there isn't one at this time. I have mostly finished art for air, a finalized idea for fire, and have been brainstorming earth.
  8. Hi all! I'm doing reservations (I will bill you once the coins have arrived. No money required now) for my new coin. It is hopefully the first in a series. Reservations will be closed February 18th. These are 2" in diameter, imitation hard enamel, moons are glow in the dark (except for the Asian Pacific one). I am really pleased with these, they scales on the fish are super shimmery! Trackable. $10/each. You can pre-order here: http://www.asdesigned.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=72 Polished gold metal, turquoises, aquas, greens, glow in the dark moon. This one reminds me of the warm waters in Hawaii, where the colors tend towards vibrant green. Black nickel, purples, deep blues, glow in the dark moon. Cooler tones reminiscent of cooler waters. Black nickel, grey scale, red translucents. Graphic and bold, with a nod to the flag of Japan on the back. The art is very much inspired by Japanese culture, and I wanted a version that paid homage to that fact. If there is enough interest, I may do another run of these in the future, with new colors. Thanks everyone!
  9. Those are stunningly gorgeous!! Love the line work!
  10. Obviously, it's a Znake! Awesome coin!!! I'm so glad you finished this one.
  11. These are wonderful!! I love the colors on the blue lagoon, but they are all fantastic.
  12. I love this one. This whole series is fantastic, beautiful work!
  13. Actually there are generally enough people who missed the reservation that these few cases are covered. The reason *I* don't do it more isn't because of that, it's because it's actually a lot more work to set up a reservation and then bill everyone who reserved. Zencart doesn't have a reservation plugin (that I can find) so I have to do it by hand, which is a huge amount of time. It's way easier to make a guesstimate based on responses to threads in the forum, and just put them up on the store front when they come in, where everything gets handled automatically. Of course, I'm not a real pro at guesstimating yet, and sometimes I under or over buy. But to me the trade off was worth it given my limited time. I have never done a pre-order because I know *for me*, the big "yay" is when the money starts rolling in, and it keeps me motivated to get through the minting process which is not necessarily always that smooth. If I got the money up front, the motivation just becomes guilt in getting coins to people which just doesn't feel good. Also, things NEVER seem to go problem free with the mint. But really it comes down to whatever the vendor and buyers are comfortable with.
  14. I agree, reservations are the nice, happy medium.
  15. Dear Mystery Sender, Thank you so much for sending me a envelope of laughs in the mail! When I opened the envelope I let out a little squeal of delight and then couldn't stop giggling at the No L! I love a good pun, and visual puns are the best! Thank you so much for thinking of me!
  16. I haven't had any issues until about halfway through this year. Then suddenly things to Germany started taking up to 8 weeks to get delivered. I use Stamps.com which has its own insurance available. I've only had to get reimbursed once, and the insurance process was totally painless. I am not sure why things to Germany have started getting held by customs for ages, but it makes me very sad.
  17. Most of the coins have sold out, but there are still a few versions of the cat coin available in my store for $4.80 (plus shipping) until midnight (Pacific) tonight. Darn good price for a trackable shaped coin!
  18. Found one last stash of otter coins, including one of the black ones. There are only 1 or 2 of each, but they are on the store. If you are feeling like trying your luck, at midnight (Pacific) on Friday, all the coins on my store will be 40% off for a black friday sale. Happy Holidays!
  19. Black Friday is almost here! Starting at midnight pacific, this Friday, all coins will be 40% off! That means you can get a full-size trackable coin for less than $5! If you've been holding off on trackable kitties, now is your chance.
  20. Our event was huge from what I've heard. Yes, I designed a coin, planned an event, and then found out I'd be in Portland this evening. Eli ran it though, and we sold out of coins very quickly. Haven't heard anything else but hoping it went well!
  21. Our event is growing pretty rapidly. We have well over 80 RSVPs (I haven't done an accurate count of all the RSVP +1s) and only 100 coins. Is it going to be possible to purchase more coins from the mint after the event as we've done for past events?
  22. Got a picture earlier. Here is the one that goes with the Santa Cruz/San Jose/Greater Bay Area event:
  23. I take it back, I looked at it under better light, and the gold metal makes it look orange. I also looked through the trades I got, and you all made beautiful coins!!
