A pal of mine , and fellow cacher, has been using an ACER 35 for a while, but now appears to have a problem. the machine will fire up, but the screen , whilst lit, is blank and he cannot access any of the features. Any help would be appreciated. He swears he has not kicked it, dropped it or thrown it at te wall whilst trying to solve one of young Rutsons puzzle caches.

Think Jamie is right- all ok now.
-
Tried that, but still same result. have also checked some other caches not owned by me that were found yesterday ( I know cos I was there), and the correct date does not appear on the outside column.
-
Noticed today that the last found date on caches that I own has not updated. I know that at least six of ours were found yesterday, and the logs are showing, but the end column does not show yesterdays date. Had a look at the finders profile page and the dates are not showing on there either.

Well done, Ian

Yeah, I mean, just how dangerous CAN a blanket be? If you upset him he might set his guide dog on you, that would be dangerous. well, as you can see in my avatar.. if have one of these "dangerous dogs". but let me tell you, its not the dog you should fear, you should fear the owner.. and since i am a nice guy, some people probably will say otherwise (not only, but also because of the dog), no-one has to fear me nor the dog. we get avoided pretty often tough. but as kids are, they usually run not only me over, but also the dog. i have to admit that she doesnt like kids too much. but if they approach her nice and calmly, she lets herself get petted. if not, she might grawl and f*** off. actually that just gave me a great idea, i will attach a travel bug on her necklace, so only people with the right state of mind can "log her".. Blanket?- I thought you said Blunkett

The Biffas replied to The Biffas's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
No Noel, was too busy with Helen in Mustardland and Pengy and Tigger over the weekend for any exploits with ladies. /me puts on his fastest running shoes and surries off apace... I would have waited till I was back in China before I was that brave -
Acknowledgment of cache finds
The Biffas replied to The Biffas's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Thanks everybody- glad its not just me. Maybe Ian's exploits with the ladies over the weekend have caused the system to pause for breath !! -
I normally receive an email confirming that one of our caches has been found. One was found and logged yesterday, but no confirmation was received. Is this just a glitch, or have acknowledgments been discontinued?

Saw a few caches found today in Jamies area which didnt show todays logs, but they seem to have caught up now.
