Ya GCE02C is on the list. I knew its just a trail but from pictures people have posted in logs looks like you have an good chance to see some alligators. I plan on ding the swamp tour with Cajun Pride Swamp Tours right there at the beginner of 51. Was really just hoping on some remote locations that would be cool for this Missouri hills boy.

I am headed down to New Orleans end of march for my wife's work convention. So, I will be free to play and cache during the days. I really want to do some swamp caching. I am wanting to see Louisiana swamps at there best like a local not a tourist. (aka lots of alligators, snakes and cypress tree). Thinking about maybe going down old highway 51? Not really wanting to do much of the power trail but it looked like interesting sights. Thanks ActMoritz

Yeah, the "ignore logs before..." is also the reason why the field notes upload will reject some field notes if you log more than one field note within the same minute. Apparently, the logic looks at the time of the last note uploaded and if a new note being uploaded is not newer (ie within the same minute) it is ignored. This is being an issue for some people who are hitting some of the "power trails" especially the 1K caches in NV (USA). Good bit of info to know thanks. wish i know that before i went through all the trouble trying to figure out what was wrong and even took my GPS back to factory lol

You can load at any time they have it set up were you can do the ALL the us or split it into east and west this I assume this will allow it to load more caches. They do take out all caches over 4 stars. But, You can also load your own Pocket Queries now.

holly smokes i think i figured it out.... i almost feel stupid. I think it was an issue with cache on my browser it was not giving me the "Ignore logs before 01/27/2011 20:59:00" option

I made sure of that I changed it form auto to Central Time (just in case). Yes they show up correct on gc.com. My issue is its pulling all the past field notes up not just the once since the last time I uploaded. I guess the easy fix would be to just to clean out my field notes after i upload them.

Having issues with date being off on my Oregon? The calender is right but all the logs are showing a day ahead the "Garmin" folder is showing modified 1 day ahead. For example: I made a change at 1/27/2011 8:43PM Garmin shows 1/28/2:43AM. So fare i have done the hard reboot. (shut off and hold corner of screen) I even moved the garman folder to my desk top made changes so that all the modified were correct then moved it back. Everything looked good but when i powered the unit back on. Boom, it all changed back to a day ahead. Can any one Help this is causing issues when loading field notes. noting shows

is it showing other information that is was before?? if so you can click on it and change it to what you want.

Using GPS trackmaker and my Oregon 200. The realtime navigation feature don't seam to work. Any ideas?

I took a look, and interestingly enough the micro at the sign only has two trackables listed - but the virtual at the sign has 20. Ya that's how it was lol I just thought it was funny.

Same here the Boys love to do the tractables its always a big let down. When the LOG shows them and they are not there. I have just go to the point of ignoring them and be surprised if there is one there. For example the cache at the welcome to lasVegas sign is a micro with no tractable yet it shows like 20.

I had heard about it some were but never really knew what it was till i was trying to fined different voices for the GPS in the car. And stumbled on some information how to load caches on the GARMAN sight. We did that for about 50 finds then i got an Oregon for fathers day and then went crazy

I had an idea that I think would be pretty nice. User Ratings (Difficulty/Terrain) When you log your post. I think it would be really cool if you ranked what you thought the Difficulty and Terrain i for that cache. Then have the finders averages displayed on the cache page. This would probably give a more accurate rating. Of cores it would not be mandatory that you Rank them Because one that i think is had you might think was easy or visa verse . Just an idea.... kinda like how most online stores had user ratings of there products. What do you guys think?!
