Why would they do that? A few examples, maybe?

Hi. I am a new lurker. I am not posting because I have no idea what I am doing ---yet. We have only gone out once, and we found one out of three, but I was immediately enamored. I feel like a freaking pirate out looking for treasure! I am trying to get a little more educated before piping in on things.
