  1. Grasscatcher and strumble - both great ideas, thanks!
  2. Thanks. That might do. Anybody have any experience with RAM products?
  3. I love my Garmin GPSMAP 76 CSx. I use it in the car on the boat and while hiking and geocaching. Lately, on some more extended hikes, I've gotten a little tired of holding it, bouncing on my chest or crowding up my pockets. Does anyone make a belt clip or something similar for the 76 series?
  4. To Market, To Market is great... but you really should go when the market is open. It makes it a bit more challenging because of all the people around, but the market itself is great and shouldn't be missed. We had a recent fire near this one. Is it still active?
  5. How does the 76CSX show the clue? When I download a wapoint from Geocaching.com I get a .loc file that has no clue information, just the GCXXX , coords and name. What software do you use to upload waypoints?
  6. I used to live in Front Royal years ago. Many people from the valley are a part of this group... http://www.novago.org/
  7. I just upgraded from an eTrex to a GPSMAP 76CSx and had the same question (before I found this forum). Yes, the maps work. POIs, maps, streets, finds, etc ... all there. But. the new auto-routing feature that you'll have on the 76 doesn't work right in the actual GPSr (on the PC it still works of course). It will come up with a track to follow that will be way off, by-passing obvious roads, etc For that reason (and I was on Metroguide 4 circa 2002)I upgraded to City Select. Map functions and details pretty much the same, but much better auto-routing.
