  2. We are hiding our new geocache, and a question has come up. What makes a geocache fun? We would like some ideas/thoughts on this.
  3. I would like to adopt this cache and have emailed the owner. The owner said I could, and said he'd turn it over to me. It hasn't happened yet. Any thoughts? Edit: spelling
  4. I was born in California, but raised in Utah. Do I count?
  5. I was introduced to it by my scout troop. I got started all because I was bored. I convinced my brother to drive to our first cache. We found it w/out a GPS. We have been caching ever since.
  6. From the pictures I can see that it really needed a CITO event. Good job Deetylong!
  7. It depends with us. If we didn't try too hard, then we usually don't log the DNF. If we put some effort in it, and couldn't find it, then we log it.
  8. Just put it in lots of bubble wrap and you'll be fine.
  9. Just email your local approver and see what he thinks
  10. I agree with Eartha. Just do what you want.
  11. We've had a cache like that too has been mishandled. It's very frustrating to see our cache just lying out in the open.
  12. I like city caching, because there's less: bugs, weeds, scrub oak, dirt, hills, cliffs, sweating, etc... I tend to like it when you can find the cache with out having to experiance any of those things.
  13. You should probably post this in your regions forum.
  14. We managed to find our first 20 caches w/out a GPS
  15. You should check the cache pages before going out to place your cache
  16. We found a street sign at a CITO event once...
  17. Now you make me feel bad because I always forget to bring a CITO Bag
  18. I agree, it's fun to take out the trash!
