Can I just pick up the 60CS with an address in mind and somehow get that address into the GPS and it'll route it for me, with city select? How do you get the address in there?

Can you install the Garmin Mapsource TOPO and City Select for an area at the same time because I notice TOPO also has streets and such on it.

I was just reading the 76CS thread and someone was talking about resoldering in a larger memory flash, has anybody tried this before? I'm pretty comfortable with soldering on PCBs so if its possible and I can get my hands on a replacement flash I'd probably do it.

Nice, thats a good workaround for being able to calculate distance between two points along a path after you've already walked it which is what I was looking for. An actual feature to do this would be nice but this'll work fer now. Thanks!

Just got my 60CS and went out on a 10.5 mile hike this Sat to try it out. I let the 'trip' function run for the whole course (every 5 seconds) and set waypoints here and there at branches on the trail getting a feel for how the unit works. The one thing I couldn't get it to calculate though was the distance between two waypoints _along the path_, it would tell me as-the-crow-flies but I wanted to know the path distance between waypoints. Obviously, I could reset the 'trip-computer' every time I set a waypoint and then check how far I walked since that last time I reset the trip-computer, but that seems like a workaround for a function that should be in there, somehwere. I read through the manual a couple times to no avail, anybody have a solution? Thanks!
