  1. Just remember the 450 takes Micro SD.
  2. You can't. You can only delete them by connecting the GPS to a PC and deleting the GPX file they are in. Thanks. I read that in the Wiki but I didn't want to believe it.
  3. I would want to see this to believe it. I have a 300 and the visiblity in sunlight is bad. You have to have it a just the right angle to make it tolerable. The backlight (which is what you get with DC power) makes it tolerable at something other than 'the right angle". Tolerable in the perfect circumstances is far short of good. So I would say, go find one, take it outisde (drag the sales staff with you if you have too) and see how it compares to a 60C. If it's as good as the 60 they have greatly improved the screen. If you can see it with the backlight off but not quite as good as the 60, but you don't have to shift it to the 'perfect angle' that's also an improvment. I went from a 60csx that I still have to a new 450. Do what I did and buy from EMS or REI so that you can return it if it doesn't suit. I'm impressed with my 450. T screen is a little more difficult to see but not that bad. The paperless and field note features are outstanding. Read the Wiki's to see how to set up the screens. Download a white background and use it instead of the fancy ones that are in the unit. It makes a difference.
  4. I have a new 450 and have read all the wiki's. I still have my 60csx but I can't figure how to delete caches from the found list as I could with the 60. Can anyone give me directions?
  5. You can download a manual from the Garmin site. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/store/manual.js...5&pID=63349
  6. With the new update for the 60Csx it mentions that it fixes the maximum readable card from 2gb to ??. How large a card can now be loaded with maps and be readable?
  7. Make sure when you select the GOTO that the unit is actually seeking the cache and then select found. I may be fishing but it is a thought.
  8. Redhawk44p When you try to enter a cache as found and it will not show, is this after you have selected GOTO first or are you trying to place it into found before GOTO?
  9. Thanks G-O-Cacher for the reply. Can you set CN to be the default map in the Geocache mode?
  10. Your issue concerning map transfers brings a question to mind. 400t with city nav on a SD card, and in Geocaching mode, can you switch between maps while seeking a cache? I read a post awhile back that Garmin had recallede 400t's for a hardware change. True or false? Can anyone give the latest serial #'s.
  11. I can't import/upload any waypoints into my E 500 from GSAK. I'm using GPX format and version 6.5. I have no trouble uploading a group using Geocache Mgr. Can anyone describe the set up in GSAK?
  12. I can upload caches to my meridian but i can't get any caches into my Explorist. I,m using 6.5 and I've tried using file /export/explorist and I've tried GPS/explorist and neither puts any caches in my unit. Help!!
