  1. Quick Bug Report for the new update: When doing an advanced search by country/state you can't search for a specific cache type. For example, an advanced search of Unknown Caches By Country/State: United States/Washington will return ALL caches in washington. I tried this for multiple cache type and country state combinations. The result was the same each time.
  2. I'm just speculating, but if your idea involves using sheet magnets as both the "container" and the log sheet, then you might want to talk over the idea with your reviewer before you spend too much time on it. In some areas, in some instances, these have not been allowed under the basis that there is no true "container". In some cases, they have. Your mileage may vary. If this is not your idea, then carry on. You still might want to talk it over with your reviewer if it's kind of wiz-bang and out of the box from other caches you've seen in your area. Its not, and there are lots of this type in my area.
  3. Hello All! Let me begin by saying that if this is in the wrong place, then I hope a Moderator will move it to the proper location and notify me of its new place. That said, on to the topic at hand. I have a cache series in mind and I am in need of some materials to get it going. Individually it would take ages to gather the materials from free sources and it would be cost prohibitive to try to acquire them via purchase. But, collectively we can gather the materials for next-to-nothing. Here is what I am looking for. Sheet magnets. You know the type. They come in the Sunday paper advertising something you don't need for more than you can afford. They are in a stack at the cash register of your local Chinese Buffet, etc. You probably have half-a-dozen stuck to your refrigerator. Well, I need them. Lots of them. In fact, I need about 15 square feet of them. So, if you have some and wouldn't mind sending them my way, please let me know. Thanks!
  4. I would like to take this opportunity to first of all thank all the Groundspeak folks for working hard for us. HOWEVER, this would also be a prudent time to remind you all (lackeys) that you work for us. We pay you. We, as cachers, allow you to function and to "officiate" our sport. You have no power other than that which we give you. We can take it away. I say this because it seems that some have forgotten it. Moun10Bike's comments were completely unacceptable and frankly I think he owes that cacher a public apology. Finally, and this will likely fall on deaf ears considering the above, I would like to echo the sentiment that the WYSIWYG editor should NOT be the default. Please do not over-react to this. Don't take it for anything more than what it says. There is no hostility here, implied or otherwise.
  5. The phone itself is awesome. I love it. HOWEVER, the GPS is AWFUL! I haven't found a single cache using this thing. My G1 was amazing. 600 Caches found. The G2 always seems to be between 25 and 40 feet off. Anyone else find this to be true?
  6. Back injury took me out of the game for over 6 months! Thanks for your service! Mike PS @Chubby Forest Monkey I just found your "Duncan Creek" cache. It's in great shape.
  7. I might be in. I may also know another cacher who would want it. I'll contact via email for more details etc.
