  1. I was just at Target and they've slashed prices on the coleman brass matchboxes. In Poughkeepsie NY they dropped down to 48 cents each, and you might have luck at your local stores. I myself bought all 7 they had left Theyre pretty nice cases, with more room than the Groundspeak microcaches. Theyre not 100% waterproof though, but I still love using them. Even if you decide to not use them as microcache containers, they make for good stuff to leave in other larger caches Some websites description page of the item Just figured Id share
  2. I dont know how I managed it, but around 3 years ago PayPal asked if I wanted their credit card. it let me pull $ right out of my paypal account. I dont use it often (since I've cut back on my ebaying), but when I *DO* have money in the account, its been very convenient to have a credit card to take it out with
  3. Haha. My wife is just happy I leave the house and get some fresh air thanks to the GPS
  4. With my Geko 201, I typically get 5-6. Its very rare I get anymore than that (middle of a deep river valley)
  5. I'm a current user of a Geko 201 since its release, upgrading from a standard eTrex (yellow) from its release. Garmin++
  6. That would work in a pinch, but i'm looking for something where I can put all 40ish presidential sites at once, and be able to update/change each pin color as I visit the site. Ive found this, which is a graphical guestbook, but im looking for a bit more functionality http://www.guestmap.org/demo/
  7. This seems like the best place to ask... Im on a project now to eventually visit all the presidential gravesites in the US. What I'm looking for is some kind of free, web-based preferrebly, or Windows, mapping software where I can put tags/pushpins at all the sites. Long/Lat is a plus, but I can "wing it" and just put it in closeby. What I'd like to do though is be able to change the color of the pushpins as I visit them. It would give me an easy way to look at a map while I'm traveling and say "Ok! I'm close to this site... I should look into it." Ive looked around, and most of the commercial software does this, but I'm looking for something free that I can install, or something web based I can put online. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks
