Well, that really sucks. I obviously can't return the software now. Maybe I'll sell it on ebay or something. Anybody want it? How is Delorme? I've heard a lot of bad things about the newer versions.

I purchased a 60cs and MS Streets & Trips but am having a lot of trouble interfacing the two. I have no trouble interfacing the included MapSource Basemap software that was included with the 60cs and the 60cs. The Basemap software allows me to select a USB port, rather than Com1 or Com4. S&T only gives me the option to configure through Com1 or Com4, but MapSource Basemap gives those options plus the USB option. My laptop only has USB, so there is no other connection option. I'm sure someone else has the 60cs and S&T. Does anyone have a possible solution? Thanks!

Weird. I noticed the file size for the Palm 5 Kauai map is a lot larger (~15x). Maybe they just don't support Kauai on the Palm 3 or 4.

I completely agree and understand. But, to offer a $13 version of nothing seems rather silly.

I agree, but that's not the point. The map, demo or not demo, appears to be somewhat useless.

That's been my experience, too. I just find it weird to offer such a map with the Platinum + GPS capabilities for a price of $12.95, when there is nothing there. I thought maybe it was a problem on my end or something. If anyone else wants to give it a try, they are available here under "Download Maps...Palm 3 or 4...Hawaii...Kauai."

I bought a Magellan Sportrak Pro today and have been checking out Mapopolis and a few maps on my Visor. My wife and I are going to Kauai next month for our honeymoon, and I decided to download the demo Kauai map. The only thing I see on the map is the island outline. Are some of their maps just like this? The other few demo maps I have downloaded show streets and all.
