  1. That is a special pop up. Roll it over and look at the reverse. There you will find the coords for signals special cache.
  2. Minus 30 need a wet suit and tanks though. I haven't dove in over 40 year and doubt I will ever get to look for it. But its there.
  3. It can be done. Look at this funny one here in AZ. Take your pick.
  4. Sorry I can't help we have a different system on the other side of the pond. But I can say most of the cachers over here don't have a clue what to do with a map and compass.
  5. Yep, did it for the local parks about two years ago, and they even paid me. Now I have about $7.00 in the state retirement funds, should withdraw it and get some good beer.
  6. Hides in CO and AZ. Thats over 600 miles apart.
  7. Use your GPS it will convert the coords for you.
  8. Use a stick to poke in a dark hole. I only wear gloves to keep warm in the winter, or my hands out of the sun in the summertime.
  9. I'm working on a placement for a new multi and may use a challenge cache as a hint to help find the cache.
  10. Thanks for the feedback. It somehow went to my Spam file. And I don't even eat that stuff.
  11. Is there a problem with the mail notices we receive from Geocaching. One of my caches was found and I haven't received the notice but my son received the notice because it is on his watch list. I posted a note to this cache and so far no reply has come back to me.
  12. Look here for lots of funky and funny signs, there are probably some road signs in there someplace.
  13. The Strike Thru means the cache is disabled read the log to see why its out of service
  14. What no Snow yet. Looks awesome, making me jealous.
  15. Email, Log it, Move on. Keep it quiet and the ghost of the past will be there for another cacher.
  16. There is one here in AZ that has been there since '02 and it is located in a designated wilderness area of all places. I wonder what this has to do with Leave No Trace let alone our guidelines.
  17. Took Jack Knife - Left Machete. I've stocked some of my back country caches and they usually stay full. Urban caches - At the most a log.
  18. Take him on a hunt for a couple of my caches. After about 12 miles he may just give up and go back to his numbers or change his ways.
  19. Started my second decade of caching with an awesome event, and a small cache. Not sure if I will look for one today, because I want to start the cache page for an event in two months and get that submitted.
  20. Contact Colorado State Forest and see what they have done in regards to caches, from what I've heard they are some awesome caches.
  21. I don't want to be the devil's advocate, but I play geocaching to find containers, if I wanted to see something interesting id look for waymarks that interest me. And this is what is taking the quality away from the game, all they can see is a lil container and the bragging rights that they have found more. Which is about as useful as pants on Porky Pig.
  22. Not all Terrain 5's require special equipment. Just read the guidelines or is otherwise extremely difficult. And IMHO its that lack of special equipment that makes them a true 5.
