  1. If you want to find them that's your choice. If you don't want to find them that's your choice . No one is forcing anyone to cache. If your that fearful of getting a virus from touching a cache, stay home.
  2. I wonder how many tested false positive and reported as real? The testing is new, so I'm guessing the positive numbers we see are not very accurate.
  3. President Trump said everything will be better by Easter. We know the president would never lie.
  4. The question is one of accuracy. Phones use cell tower triangulation. GPS uses multiple satellites resulting in better accuracy.
  5. I just went live and noticed I'm able to answer questions from home. Is there sometime wrong with the geofencing? Or as owner I only have this available ?
  6. Anyone have problems editing after your Lab goes live?
  7. I was awarded mine end of January and it said (Your Adventure must be set to Public before May 1, 2020,) No extension for me but I'm almost finished,
  8. Rules state Adventure Lab should take 8 hours or less to complete. What Lab are you doing ? Why is it taking weeks ?
  9. My Lab has the same problem. It's currently in the testing now and would like to go live soon. This topic started in January and no one from GS has addressed or updated us. What's going on? Are you going to fix this?
  10. I once found a live body while caching the countryside south of the cities I live. Here's a copy of my log. As we were going down the dirt road we spotted a elderly gentleman standing on the road. He didn't look well so we turned around to check on him. We asked him if he was okay but he didn't respond very well. We then asked where his car was parked and he replied down the road. We got him in the van to find his car. I asked him where he lived and he replied, on a hill. It was obvious he had dementia. He said his car was white. We couldn't find a white car but noticed someone mowing grass. We pulled in the farm to see if they know him. Nope, no idea who he his. I decided to get the man to show me his identification. He had a identification card and his name was Lloyd and we now had his address. We put the address in the gps and it was a 1 1/2 miles away. We get to Lloyd's house and knocked on the door. After a while Lloyd's wife answers the door. We tell her about finding Lloyd and she gets real pissed off. She yells, why did you bring him back. You should have left him there. He does this all the time. She was doing some canning and didn't want to be interrupted. She did calm down and we had a short chat. The white car we were searching for only existed in Lloyd's mind. You never know what you might find geocaching. Having some caching fun with the Two of Hearts team. Our main goal today were MnSQ multi's. Lots of history learned today visiting these cemetery's. 11. Can't see profile. Still broken.
  12. When clicking( hide a cache) ERROR 500 is seen. What's going on now?
  13. Thank You, that worked as you described. I didn't have to do that last week. Why am I now getting a compressed file?
  14. When right clicking I don't see WinZip as an option.
  15. Like I said before I get View results and Download now when opening GS PQ email. When clicking download I only see a white screen. Then looking at recent downloads I now see a compressed gpx instead of the standard gpx file.
  16. Once again I try downloading a PQ from GS email and more problems. When looking at what recently downloaded, I see the file has now listed as something called compressed GPX. I tried loading this to my gps but it won't work. So firefox is no good for pqs. I go back to Internet Explorer and download with no problems and get standard GPX. I now have gpx files in my garmin that work. Is there anyway to fix firefox or GS email so I get standard gpx files instead of compressed ? GS doesn't want people to use IE but it's the only way to download workable gpx file. I haven't changed anything since last week when I got standard gpx. I'm not a computer expert, so please me nice.
  17. I saw that price. It's for their super size version delivered each quarter. I'm asking about the standard monthly version.
  18. Anyone know the the cost? Their website doesn't say. https://www.cachecrate.com/ Is there anyone who has done it think it's worth it? I've heard it's expensive but prices aren't mentioned.
  19. Thank You, funkymunkyzone. I still believe a message should have been seen telling me it downloaded to my computer.
  20. I had to do the same. Seems the problem is being ignored.
  21. Looked up PEBCAK, and it's a not a very nice term used by arrogant IT people. It pokes fun at non-computer experts like myself. I'm just a senior that never grew up with a computer or cell phone attached to the side of my head. A blank white screen means nothing to me.
  22. I now see it in the folder. It would have been nice to see a message that this happened instead of a blank white screen.
  23. Not everyone is a computer expert. What's FF? All I see is a blank screen after choosing download.
