That looks like enough area coverage for me. I would normally
know the general area I would need at any time. What kind
of detail should I expext in the pink zones
My wife was out looking to purchase Mapsourse software for me
I have an etrex legend and the sales guy told her I wouldn't
be able to load much of anything on the legend due to small
amount of memory! I think he is wrong and that the 8 mb is
enough to load several areas from the software that relate to
were I'll be geocaching or traveling. He also said that even if
I did load a small area it would not give all the detail of
small roads and points of interest or any thing else that I expect
I woould. Anyone know what I should expect, and or have
already used mapsource with the legend?
dmh
yes on the first start up screen
it is an all text screen that has my info on it and this
message about fast track. then the sceen changes to the earth
with sats graphic
Fairly new to this and have been looking at the map software to
add to my Garmin legend.
I'm not sure if topo. or city or metro, whatever would be best for geocaching.
For geocaching does anyone feel
one set is better than another?
Any thoughts from the experts.
thanks
Het all,
when I download a waypoint from the web page each file ends up with the
same file name "geocaching.loc" I have been renaming at that point, but I
was wondering if I might be doing something wrong.
Any thoughts?
thanks
