OK so here is the story. I am participating in the Secret Cupid Mission and did not have very much luck getting anyone to trade with me. A couple of responses for coins I wanted but not for the ones I needed to mail. So there I am feeling blue - and what do I do when I feel blue - I get out the FIMO and create. I tried to release one near San Francisco in the Coyote Point park. I think the cache was Rocky Road. I'll add that it was a Rocky Road to poison oak hell!!!! Didn't find the cache and missed two weeks of work recovering. ouch maybe next time things will turn out better:)

Happy Birthday Vanelle I think I have everyone beat regarding the number of years past but I doubt I will win the contest My first concert was Sonny and Cher, now that's taking you back. Myself and a bunch of teenage girls, driving downtown in my daddys Plymouth station wagon(pinkish color) that had a bad battery and half the time had to be jumped when you shut it off. Seats were somewhere in the first ten rows. After the concert we heard a rumor that the 2 were heading to their hotel for eats so we threw caution to the wind and made up our minds we were going to find them and sure enough we did. What a bunch of groupies Along the way we had to have the car jumped twice and the third time when it died downtown it would not start and we had to make that terrible call to our parents Not sure how we talked our parents in to it but it was a great adventure. Wow, thank you so much BVnLJ. I have been away in N Carolina with my daughters family and have not been on line for awhile. As I am the last to choose send me what is left as I am happy to just be a winner. Hope you all had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and the NEW YEAR finds all of you Healthy and Happy.

Well when I saw this post I began to get a bit excited, maybe, just maybe this could be my Secret Santa gift coming from the UK. Finally able to sit down and photo my Penquin Mission. My card came last Thursday I believe all the way from Sweden Thank you so much Grodan Karin for the neat Fiabus coin and the pathtags, I love em Both my Penquins Missions have arrived The US Penguin Mission I sent was received but the overseas mission has yet to be logged. Well I usually string lights all around the ceiling and the fireplace in my house plus other various odds and ends, the little ones really like it. But this year I am not going to be home so I don't know if I will do this or not. With the pinch this year I have spent all my spare time since beginning of Nov making FIMO clay gifts to spread the Holiday Spirit Santas House Santa with his good friend Rudolph

Finally got my coin from my first mission loaded, it is a beauty, Thank you Maine Family Waiting on incoming mission #2, anticipation is half the fun

Just two to check in now..... Does anyone know Cav Scout or CTKayak - can anyone check that they are ok - they are not responding to emails.... Anyone seen or heard anything???? Life throws us curlies now & then ~ ~ ~ so anything could have happened. We would like to hear 1. that outgoing missions have been mailed. 2. Incoming mission has been received safely. Oh what a shame, please let me know if I can help. Just not right for someone who participated to go without, I will gladly hep:)

Beautiful sunny day here in California so I ventured out to the Post Office and got my 2 Penguin Missions sent. I did however forget to mention in my cards that it was the Penguins. I slipped both my cards in mailers as I was afraid of them getting mangled in the machines. I got home to discover that one of my cards had arrived and it was mangled with the coin envelope hanging part way out. Luckily it got stuck and all is well. Thank you so much Maine Family for the beautiful coin, can't recall ever seeing it before. I will find my camera and take a picture to post later. Thank you Butterfly_lady for all your hard work, this is really fun. I sent a little something off to you today, hope it makes it before Christmas
