  2. if you go onto the cache listing and arcive it , this will remove it from the search of all looking in the area. you can then ammend the listing and have a moderator activate it again.

  5. trackable version http://www.thecachingplace.com/shop/pc/vie...p;idproduct=291 There are more two-inch coins at thecachingplace but Jim does not bother with icons so I do not bother with his coins. do you activate every coin for your collection then?? if not you dont need the icon anyway as its never going to be tracked on GC.com and get an icon ??

  7. commentator "andhere we see them all piling up behind the safty frog, following that croak-astrafy of a crash on the last lap" (the one that sets the speed limit after a crash or for restarts i dont watch racing to dont know what there called)

  9. Toojin, you may want to edit the pic as your advertising the tracker number for your un-activated coin someone with the no how could hijack it from you.
  10. the cache page is now done!! (just need to get out there and set it) after a bit of a search here is Mr. Updowns holiday home
  11. wow i won thankyou The saint i have sent you a PM, To all who entered well done there were a few great entrys in there. now im off to have a play with html code to get the cache listing just right,
  12. on some gps you can select the option to "avoid main roads" all depends on what your using, the other way is to use google maps and add waypoints at the junctions of the backroads so the rote has to follow the back roads
  13. just change your username. keep all the stats you have so far and your girlfriend is happy.
  14. i have recently found a UK supplier Premier Badges i have been dealing with them for my Jungle Grins Series and also my Personal coin. The are located just of the M25 near brentwood Die fees are [edited] 100 coins in Antique Bronze, silver or Gold any varients (my personal was 75 bronze, 20 silver and 5 gold) with 5 enamle colours [edited] the only thing is that as they are not an approved seller with Groundspeak so you have to order the codes from GC directly and then have them engraved on after [edited] they offer collect in person (50 miles for me but i then get to see the die's and take a few photo's of the mint) or P&P [edited] after all the companies i have asked these are the cheapest and in the UK so save on delivery [edited by Admin upon the request of daveindeal - MissJenn]
  15. i have found 2 of these containers out in the field, and they hold up well to the eliments. i have 2 to put out using this container and one of them is the big jumbo size with 33% extra free but i need to mammouth tape it as its bright pink!! when ever i have a container that could be used i do a submerge test, for a few minuets, not only does it tell you if the cotainer is watertight but makes all labels and stickers fall off.
  16. a little while ago, i done one that was near a war monument, the cache was located off the main path in the undergrowth, the day was dull and light misty rain in the air, perfect for caching as muggles dont normaly venture out. I entered the undergrowth with not a soul around, after a quick search found and signed the log, when i come walking out of the bushys iwas faced with 40 - 50 tourists all with cameras in hand and the most set's of evils i have ever had at once after a second of my brain thinking whats my excuse, i started to fiddle with my zipper (fly's if your in the UK) and i dont think any one of the tourist went of to find where i had "been"
  17. I found out about earth hour last year and will support it again this year and every year from now on. #1 me and my family last year planned our dinner at the same time as EH and enjoyed it by candle light, so we may do the same again this year. #2 We are re-cyclers and have done for many years, paper, plastic, glass i even try and recycle everyday objects that whould normaly be dumped, old tvs used as flower planters etc. the most recent major recycle i did was built a green house (well a green dome) (please note this is not my dome but an image the same) All wooden bars are made from non-return builders pallets (normaly go into a skip) All hubs are made from off cuts of 3inch pipe All conecting straps are the metal straps that hold the bricks onto the pallets My dome is 8 meters across and 4 meters at the heighst point, the only thing i have purchased for the dome is the cover (10 year life gurentee and the screws to hold it together)
  18. wow been away for a week and missed loads, new mystery givers, a few cointests and even found out that an entire cache series near me (that was on my to-do) has been disabled due to vandalism and coin theft - caches damaged so they arnt watertight, log books stolen, coins and swag stolen, but in all cases the cache hads been placed back exactly as they were found in there hiding places i whould love to have this as my first every mystery coin and it would take pride of place in my very small coin collection
  19. Name: Mr UpDown Mission: Im a bit confused is up down, or down up ?? Please take me and show me which is up and which is down, be it under water, in a tower, or on a montain top. The one place i would like to travel most is the place im named after, its a tiny village in the UK that is so small there are only 4 houses and a reservoir, This place is so special to me that i have had my very own Holiday Home created there: **GC25BEG - Mr UpDowns Holiday Home (**Please note that this cache is unpublished and will activated when Mr UpDown is realised on his travels)
  20. i had one with a key that soon rusted up - so i replaced it with a combi lock. i have recently started aquiring old keys for a new cache that has a big bunch of keys (about 60 - 70) with only one opening a lock, these will all be inside an airtight/water tight box to stop rust. (PS if anyone wants to donate some keys for my cache just drop me a PM)
  21. I have a personal tracker TB2X4H0 I have an unpublished cache at my home co-ordinates, every time i visit a chche i take it out of my unpublished cache, drop it into the one i visit then place it back into the unpublished cache. this way it doesn't work out the milage between the caches i visit but also works out how many miles i have traveld to and from the cache im up to 857 miles, here is a screen capture of the map:
