    This should have never been allowed.

    It is not geocaching, it is just getting numbers. You just have to look at the suspicious first to finds to know this is bull.....

     

    There are apparently reports from people now that some caches listed as FTF are not even found. Reports of some logsheets been soaking wet and the stamp ink running a day later ??? Single tyre tracks to the cache and single set of footprints... with 12 cachers searching.... No tracklogs... It is all very suspicious... Apparently they are all stamped with a name and the date, conveniently made for the right date... Sort of makes it all seem like a big story, but who are we to believe anymore. I would love to do it from a challenge point of view maybe even by bicycle, just to see how many I could get. It seems like an impossible feat however to get 600+ unless in a team... I recon max maybe 250 - 300 on your own... I still remain quite unconvinced that it was done by everyone... A tracklog would prove otherwise. Sorry guys I know a lot of you personally, but a lot of stories are floating around and they are not good.

    To respond to your insinuation that caches were not done:

     

    I would just like to caution you on making accusations,(copied above). Each cache was visited and found on the day.

     

    And all the opinions of powertrails or not, it's a game! You take out what you want.

    Does anyone know the cachers called Smithietjies???

     

    They took our racer Tigger 2 months ago and still have not placed it in a cache. After numerous mails we're hoping someone knows them and can give them a push in the right direction!!!

    We're planning an early morning walk on the Sunday morning 24/10/2010 leaving at 06h00 and returning at approximately 08h00 to avoid walking in the heat of the day.

    We have got permission from Tshwane Parks to enter the Wonderboom Nature Reserve free of charge providing that all the cachers who would like to go on the walk provide their names to us byTuesday, 19/10/2010 so that access can be arranged.

     

    Please drop us a note on happyhunters@tiscali.co.za if you would like to join us on the walk

    We're planning an early morning walk on the Sunday morning 24/10/2010 leaving at 06h00 and returning at approximately 08h00 to avoid walking in the heat of the day.

    We have got permission from Tshwane Parks to enter the Wonderboom Nature Reserve free of charge providing that all the cachers who would like to go on the walk provide their names to us byTuesday, 19/10/2010 so that access can be arranged.

    2010 Techno Event 1,2,3

    Another great event! Once again we have to thank BruceTP for opening his doors to host the event yet again! Also a thank you for all the snacks you provided for all the hungry cachers. To Anton ( DamhuisClan) and Pine (RedGlobe) for their contribution in presenting the technical part of the event, thank you very much! And then to everyone that attended the event, thank you for making this event a success!

    We hope to see everyone at the next Techno event.

    Caching in Vaal Park ( Sasolburg)

    Were planning on doing some caches in Vaal Park on the 25th of September. There is 12 caches in the park and Antron said he would add a few more for us cachers coming from jJhb. The Lapa in Vaal park will also be available after doing the caches in the reserve to have a braai and visit. Anyone that would like to join us for the day would be welcome.

    Were planning on doing some caches in Vaal Park on the 25th of September. There is about 13 caches in the park and Antron said he would add a few more for us cachers coming from jJhb. The Lapa in Vaal park will also be available after doing the caches in the reserve to have a braai and visit. Anyone that would like to join us for the day would be welcome.

     

    We're also thinking of making this a event so that a lot of the cachers that lives more to the South could meet cachers from up North.
