We retrieved three coins from a cache today. I went to the cache site to enter my log; and the coins that I retrieved are not listed in the Inventory List. Should they have been listed? Should I email the person who dropped them off and tell him to add the coins to the Inventory List? How does one add something to the Inventory List? I am thinking of starting a trackable item. thanks

We just found a travel bug that must have been dropped off just a few hours earlier. The prior cacher has not yet logged on to say that they dropped off the TB. Do we wait for them to enter "dropped off" before we enter "retrieved"? thanks in advance.

I am new to this also. If I am with someone who decides after 10 minutes they are ready to move on, I will not log a DNF. I, myself, will stay for over 30 - 40 minutes +; if I cannot find the cache, I will record a DNF. Also, if there is a natural impediment - water due to rain, snow, etc. I will not log a DNF - I will go back after a while and try again. I have also emailed the cacher for another clue if I cannot find it.

I am new to geocaching. At one find was the acronym SOAP. Does that mean something? I emailed the person who hid it but got no response. Thanks in advance.
