  1. any one talked to tom hiro about porting GCZII? ;-)
  2. second that but with a HTC pure .. GCZII blows any other app out of the water when you try it .
  3. per MM they have been told GCZII is allowed now ;-) W00T!
  4. i pm ed Motorcycle Mama for verification of this .
  5. I still want a answer to the original question { will there be a decent winmobile app?} with a twist .. one thats "legal"
  6. turns out 5 people in my callcenter use toms app . and its toms app that got em started ... hmmmm but still cant get a answer through official channels about API access . FAIL !
  7. Sounds just like what's asked for in this thread. Discussions instead of silence. Make GCzII a legal application for WinMo and give WinMo users a choice in addition to their GPSr. You probably can afford to pay Tom Hiro a bit as well, and still manage perfetly OK. Please let us now the results of your meeting here ASAP, and PLEASE don't just shut the WinMo door. Im sure tom is willing to hand out this on a silver platter if gs will play ball . ie , API access. if not well ..
  8. Bryan, THis is all we have been asking for. Thank you for coming forward. I hope something good will come out of this for us WinMo users. Sincerely, Craig Haroldson hope they Groundspeak plays ball japans ip laws are quite "open"
  9. your analogy holds no water bud ... there are no big competitors to GS/GC .. for a better analogy i bring you MA-BELL we are the only phone company out there so play by our rules or we will take away your phone. and we are the only ones with phones ... thats more like whats going on . :
  10. may need to be updated soon ... very soon ;-(
  11. Sadly, Groundspeak can win this 'war'. They are the gate keeper, and since all the other listing services are lame, there realy is no competition. And, there are no good apps for any of those other listing services, so no matter how bad you think geocaching is, it is still the best out there. That said, I am still urging Groundspeak to allow others to use the API. PS as for Live.geocaching.com, I just tried it today. It looks like it has some potential, but currently it is realy bad, and super slow. Using an API is supposed to (among other things) speed up the access to data, not slow it down. What is up with that? im going to call and email them untill i am told how to get or "purchace" api access . it was given to the iphone devs some how ..
  12. +6 this is not a war you can win Groundspeak , work with us ...
  13. im hoping they just fix current function
