Oh customs... One of our outbound missions is still held up in customs - hopefully this week will bring some movement to it! We opened our two missions on Christmas day and they were awesome! We'll post pictures another time. Hopefully AndKaylee's will arrive soon. I know our local post office has been having some issues and ended up on the news about it...

Dug some tracking info out of the truck. Our package to Canada (actually, that would be AndKaylee's package to Canada) arrived at a Canadian Facility ob Thursday. Hopefully it will be picked up by Canadian post very soon to head to its destination. The package going to the UK departed an airport in Heathrow on Thursday and is showing In Transit. Hopefully it will get to the recipient very soon!!

No change in our status. The two packages we sent out of the country have not made it to their destination (darn), and the one for AndKaylee is still not here. We *did* open our missions hiding under the tree today! One from Hawaii for Mike and one from BC for Juli! Thanks, and hopefully our outstanding missions will be complete by the new year ?

Opened our missions this morning, but didnt get a chance to post until now. Wanted to make sure I post some gratitude and some pics, as it is always my favorite part of the thread to scroll through. Kaylee loved her treats and the sweet handwritten letter from Peep of LiveAnimals (I think I got the nicknames right). She also has a special connection to every stuffy she has (and that's a lot), so I'm sure the snoopy will be treasured for a long time. Mike loved the fancy box from Scotland, and cant wait to share the sweet treats with Juli. It must have taken forever to wrap every single gift like you did! Bravo! Juli was floored by the box from Scrablehounds (we all were). The fact that it was LOADED with goodies was icing on the amazing cake. Thank you so much! I thought we stepped up our Joyeux Noël exchange last year, but the thought and effort put into the treasures we recieved this year was truly inspiring. Our final mission arrived tonight! First, thank you to everyone for the gifts! This is such a cool thing to participate in, and it cant exist without the help of the community! Of course, a big thank you to Laval K-9 for organizing another fantastic mission. It is fun watching everything update here! Speaking of update: our final mission arrived (addressed to Mike, so mystery solved -lol!)! We were very excited to see it was from Valerie, someone we've been following on Facebook for a few years now! The pictures were too big to post in the forums, and Im too lazy to resize. First - the answer you seek is found a few posts above yours - Kaylee LOVES her addition to her already growing collection, and the beautiful card and envelope! The caligraphy is amazing, and it is definitely being saved in her collection of special memories. It reminds me of the quote that is on our 'United World' geocoin: "In the countries we live in there are many flags, different laws to follow, and borders separating our lands. But in the geocaching world we develop worldwide friendships, follow the same rules, and unite under one banner." Another update to follow tonight!

Quick Update: We still havent recieved our third mission. Holiday postage times van be brutal! Juli thinks I got our names mixed up and she recieved one, but I didnt. Unfortunately I tossed the packaging from Sherminator, so I cant see if it is adressed to Juli or Mike (facepalm). On a possitive note: I dug out our post office reciepts, checked the tracking numbers, and all three of our missions have been delivered! Yay!!!
