I'm looking to purchase a good quality topo map program. I'd like to get some opinions on which one is best. I think I'm down to 2, either Delorme Topoquads or National Geographic. Any suggestions or opinions appreciated. Thanks!

I vote for the Garmin 60c. It has been great, get's me right to the cache and gives very accurate coords for my own caches.

I've had my 60c for about 2 weeks now and love it. Get's me right on the geocache every time. The display is the best I've seen on a GPS. You will not be disapointed with the purchase of one of these. The memory is sufficient changing mapsets for trips to different areas doesn't take very long at all if you need too thanks to the USB connection. Great unit!

I'm using a Garmin 60c and was wondering if I can convert my trails to routes? When I load them into mapsource it looks like it should be an easy conversion but it doesn't have that option. Is there a way to do it? thanks for any help! -WWJ

It still doesn't work right. It's ok on the main roads but when it gets to the side roads it just draws a straight line. Why does it do this???? frustrating.....

Can you transfer the turn by turn directions to the Garmin 60c from Metroguide version 5? I know you can't from the GPS but I thought you could transfer them from Metroguide. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I ordered a Garmin etrex Vista on monday and have been looking through this forum about it losing signal under trees. The GPS I'm replacing is a Garmin GPS12 because of the maps and extra features. I've never lost a signal with my GPS12 even in deep valleys and under trees. I even get a signal when I'm inside the house. Is the Vista antenna inferior to the GPS12? Thanks for any info anyone has. -Jason
