I mark off each of mine on a map and then add the waypoint to my GPS. To be honest with an accurate map you don't really need the GPS as long as you have a good nose for the find.

Wouldn't a book become obsolete fast with the usual turnover of caches?

I did the shropshire union canal between Ellesmere Port and Chester. Fell in a bunch of nettles and still picking out bramble thorns. Wouldn't of missed it however. No DNF's neither!

Aha! You did see the puzzle then Yup, I'm an Ellesmere Port based chap at the moment. Shame you are too far away The Blorenges. I'll keep my ear to the ground about event caches, thanks for the tip on that.

Anyone want to adopt this newbie? Currently equipped with a GPS 12XL (Garmin). I'm a pretty decent puzzler so have some grand plans for puzzles and home made caches. So any takers?
