  1. The friends who introduced me to geocaching (and God bless them for it!) told me, "Don't hide a cache until you've found a hundred of them." I don't know if you should wait that long, but if you stick with it for a while longer I think you will get a feel for the kinds of caches you enjoy finding, the kinds of places you enjoy looking, whether or not you have a theme for your cache, whether or not the coordinates are given in puzzle form, etc. Hope that helps.
  2. I agree with Kohavis - geocaching is as individual as we are! Some people go in groups, some prefer solo. Some ask for help, some are more independent. So, if you do it your way, I do it mine, and we are all respectful of the environment and other cachers it is a great thing for everyone!
  3. I love it! I always have my camera with me whenever I go geocaching. But I haven't seen any critters up close yet. That may have something to do with the fact that I go with my geocaching partner - a 9-pound poodle puppy. But I don't know . . .
