  1. Im wondering if its possible to have an image load in a log or a note once i get into the "log find" area of a cachepage. Is that doable or is it setup to display only the link for the image.....? Thanks
  2. Congrats to you both! I take it GPS co-ords go out in the invitations for the ceremony location? !
  3. Here is an "enlarged" version of an container i saw on this site. The bolt is 6" long and 1/2" diameter. "Before" And with part of bolt welded into the nut and the entire thing coated/dabbed with JB Weld, then painted with brown and black flat paint..hole drilled into end of bolt of course for the log sheet. I put a piece of flat cork in the nut as a gasket, is water tight now! Inserted into a downed fence post............. Have had good logs about it, some have come back a few times to find it, but enjoyed the hunt!
  4. Oriental Trading Company has a herd of stuff
  5. Hi, I like "TerraClient" co-ords change with cursor movement, you can also choose to overlay a topo map (helps with finding places) and you can control the amount of overlay and increase brightness. can be downloaded at http://www.downlinx.com/proghtml/424/42443.htm
  6. GOOOOOOOOD BRAIN FOOD, keep em coming please!!
  7. CHRIS S.........Volcanic rock idea pretty good, but, if ppl in your area are good at looking for "things out of place" then a real porus redish rock amongst smooth grey (or what ever the type) would stick out like a sore thumb, if they are not so good, would be a good "container" hehe! (a grey or white flat paint, or combo of might help it blend in more) And your right, it drills out really easy, (especially with a concrete/mortor bit) chisel werk tad tough and you run risk of splitting the rock...................
  8. Hi, Im trying to come up with some ideas for "interactive" cache ideas, something to do at the cache site thats easy, doesnt take too much special equipment (for constant cache maintenance) Something as simple as some compass headings from a particular object might do, but does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks AzRob
  9. When you say the co-ords are different, are you saying the numbers themselves are off when compared to how they show up on the webpage VS the number the GPS is saying the waypoint is?
  10. Im not familiar with downloading the co-ords straight to a GPS, i put em on a topo pgm first, but, what format/file extension are you uploading to your GPS? maybe GPS doesnt recognize them so good and messes em up?
