  1. Stream trout season opened in Jan so now it's just a matter of weather - Weather I want to be cold or warm that is. I realize the rules as I had 300 caches of my own at one time and never once deleted a find for any reason. This is not a competition or a must win event it's just an excuse to get out and do something hopefully healthy. So if anyone thinks signing a log is worth contact with this virus and endangering others than I guess we are in for a long long summer at home.
  2. I went out for the first time in years yesterday. We are in a lockdown so many precautions are in place one being don't touch anything someone else may have touched recently. The problem with caching is the same as playing golf right now. Even if you go alone you are touching the flag or ball washer and in the caching sense you are touching the container and it's contents. I am not a diehard log signer and I am sure this is going to ruffle many feathers but no way will I be grabbing containers and signing. I am in this for exercise not competition and just want to stay alive and keep others safe. Sometimes the rules should be broken.
  3. No, because it was a traditional cache and they all found it. :/ That's the piece of the puzzle you left out. Since it sounds like more than one posted CFTF, then I would guess it's Co First To Find. I have seen this - Co first time find - if they find in groups to denote all members as co finders. I personally do the LTF
  4. I just purchased a Garmin-asus T-mobile phone and found out Easygps nor GSAK support this phone. However there is a work around to load individual or merged gpx files which works very well and may work with other android phones. First load your pocket query and when you get the gpx file save it to the desktop then connect the Garmin-asus, set for file transfer and then just copy the gpx file into the Garmin\gpx folder. Once you unplug the usb cable all the caches will display under Saved Locations. You can also save individual caches to this location by using the "save to gpx" option in the Geocaching.com detail.
  5. I just purchased a new Garmin Asus Droid phone. The gps works great and I am able to upload gpx files vi usb but would like to transfer caches directly using the email function if possible. Does anyone know how to do this? thanks
  6. I agree, I have some 40 hides myself and see postings all the time where the log was not signed because they forgot a pencil or pen. I don't verify the finds nor will I ever. I see caching as a good walk in the woods or around town and the numbers of finds are just numbers. People can do what then want as long as they are considerate and replace the cache in good shape, repect property and others.
  7. Fake Bees nests - fake bolts - fake bottle cap micro - film canister in a mushroom - micro in a frog. Vacant Birds nests - These are just some of the one I planted
  8. A word of caution - don't leave tips or descriptions as some cache owners will delete your finds and send nasty email, even as a newbe some are quite intolerant of newbe errors (don't ask me how I know )
